Martellus Bennett (ankle) expected to practice today.
"Bennett, who spent the first nine practices in San Antonio rehabbing on the sidelines, suffered the injury while working out independent of the team at Valley Ranch.
Although he is encouraged by Bennett's progress, head coach Wade Phillips said that the team will treat the third-year tight end's return with care."
Here is the team's injury list:
S Akwasi Owusu-Ansah (shoulder/hamstring); TE Martellus Bennett (ankle), NT Josh Brent (hand); DE Jason Hatcher (elbow); LB Stephen Hodge (knee, on physically unable to perform list); LB Sean Lee (quadriceps); NT Sean Lissemore (groin), S Pat Watkins (knee).

Is that what you call it?
Guys are funny that way.
This may be one o fhte best stories of camp. You have Phillips impressing coaches, and Sicko who is not only talented, but guaranteed to sell a number of jersies totally out of proportion to his playing time, and now Bennett is back with a chance to compete.
FREE THE OGLETREE!!!
Not so much
seems like it always happens this way. Probably because the physical demands of camp are pretty high.
FREE THE OGLETREE!!!
So far only backups
As long as it’s not a starter, I don’t get too worried.
But my mind won’t be truely at ease until AOA, Lee, and Bryant are all on the field.

No
I wish they were practicing but it doesn’t concern me.

someone says he was carted off the field?
please tell me he was just “helped off the field”
Rangers FTW
I read that the trainers helped him off.
If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.

MRI's are done
To see the integrity of the ligament sprain…
Cowboys fan since 1978.. I was 3 years old
They're OK individually but
it scares me a little when Dire, White, Lone, Ware and any other random wolf gang up.
FREE THE OGLETREE!!!
Dr Scandrick weighed in as well
“He rolled his ankle, but I think he’ll be all right,” Scandrick said.
FREE THE OGLETREE!!!
I wonder if Dr Scandrick will order up
the hyperbolic chamber that sits unused in the training room since the departure of TO…
FREE THE OGLETREE!!!
I call shenanigans on Dr Scandrick
Will the Dr put Bryant through a hyperbolic tangent like this one:

Or perhaps a hyperbolic cosecant?

Perhaps cooler minds will prevail and fetch the hyperbaric chamber from the training room.

Ooh I know this one
When he derivates the problem will he come up with

If this is the case I’m going to shoot myself for thinking math wasn’t a cool profession.
Word is coming out now some punk in green latex named "Jimmy"
ran out on the field and tripped him.
FREE THE OGLETREE!!!
Let me know when the headline says "Dez Bryant (ankle) expected to practice today"
Because until then, I’ll be perched on the edge of a cliff.
We'll Get By
We’d all rather Dez get his timing down and learn the play book in training camp. It sucks he’ll be out for as long as six weeks, but we do have depth and experience at WR. The silver lining is I’d rather Dez have a high ankle sprain now than in early December. That would put him on the IR heading into the playoffs.
