Any idea on how long romo and 1st team offense are going to play?
Bummed about Sean Lee not playing…wanted to see him
A little more than the Cincy game, which means maybe two series each instead of one.

Disappointed we won't be seeing Lee out there.
I can’t wait to see him in action.
I have to think that if this were the 2nd of 4 preseason games, Lee would be playing. But with three games still remaining after tonight, they aren’t taking any chances. I don’t blame them.

With 5 preseason games, I wonder if they will be playing the starters for the customary half during the 3rd or 4th game.
I’m thinking the 4th @ Houston?

Isn't it the 2nd to last game
That the starters play into the 2nd half as well?
I have to go back to last year and look.

Yeah, I was just wondering if they would switch it up this year but they wouldn't want to sit them two weeks in a row.

They won't
I’ve never heard of a team doing that. The HoF game doesn’t change how they aproach playing and resting their starters in the other 4 games.

it will be
Starters should get almost the entire 1st qtr today and quarter and half against SD and then the 1st half plus against Houston which ironically is a nationally televised game.
In Romo we Trust
Even though they play them there this year?
If Brad Pitt is playing Beane who do you want playing you?

3 Te's banged up.....
And we only signed one guy….time to practice those 3RB plays or the 5WR sets.
And I thought that was our deepest position.
That Gronkoski guy has been practicing some looks at TE, so they'll probably mess around with that in the 2nd half.

Many more injuries
and we’ll have to be playing our 2 QB and 6 O-Line sets!

I've also read
that they were using an OL-men as a TE in some formations, is that true?

Holy Cow! Martin Rucker failed his physical with the Bucs!
Get him in here, Dr.JOnes!

passing physical
You think if he comes in we pass him easily, unless injured or out of shape badly to get us another body?
by carolinacowboy on Aug 11, 2010 5:27 PM CDT up reply actions
if he failed his physical with the Bucs
wouldn’t you think he’d fail it with us as well???
In Romo we Trust
My guess is Rucker visits Dallas by tomorrow...
Man, to reiterate Brandon, I was really looking forward to seeing Lee tomorrow. Oh well. Better safe than sorry with all the injuries going on with this camp.
Getting frustrated with Bennett too even though it may not have been his call to sit out….
Anomoly............Finally here.........
Yeah, if he reinjuries that ankle then they'd be really slim at TE.

No Reason for Marty B to be out there
His starting spot is safe, he’s seen more than enough game time to be experienced. Playing an extra preseason game isn’t going to have much of an effect on his progression. It’s better that he’s 100% healthy when he does step on the field.

if he plays on that ankle and re-injures it, he's back to square one
the pre-season games don’t matter. Let him heal.

When you put it like that
It looks like our team is really beat the f* up!
13 guys out? Ouch.
by Blue Eyed Devil on Aug 11, 2010 4:27 PM CDT reply actions
agreed
I was just saying that the other day that our injuries although not all serious were starting to pile up on us, just curious if it was a real game how many ot these guys could go?
by carolinacowboy on Aug 11, 2010 5:29 PM CDT up reply actions
Still
The Cowboys are a popular team for free agents. There will always be bodies wanting to don the star, even if it is only for a few weeks
If the Cowboys lose to McNabb in Week 1, I am drinking myself into a coma.
He switched to #50 in camp.

He should have grabbed #54
I’d like that # to be worthwhile again.
Or 51.

Here's hoping there is a lot of caution here
I would venture a guess that most of these players could go if this were regular season. I can certainly see why the coaches would keep someone out if there is any question about their health.

Yikes, that's a lot of guys
No AOA, or Lee yet, kind of disappointing.
I thought AOA was supposed to be ready to go for this one, hope he didn’t have a set back.
Thank you #22, for everything you did for the Cowboys. There will never be another one like you.
The schedule may have something to do with this
The Cowboys only had four days between games, and now get a couple of extra days after the Raiders game to heal up.
