Well, this wasn't what I was hoping for from a fan viewpoint, but for my little poll, it may be interesting. After the steaming pile of dog poop that the Cowboys starters left on the floor of Reliant Stadium, it will be interesting to see if the poll numbers change.
First, to recap the results:
112 of you cast a vote. The percetages (rounded off):
12 or more wins (a lock for the playoffs): 24 votes for 22%
10 or 11 wins (almost a lock, but some chance of getting frozen out): 84 votes for 75%
8 or 9 wins (not likely to make the playoffs without a lot of help): 3 votes for 2%
7 or fewer wins (there will be blood at Valley Ranch): 1 vote for 1%
No matter how you look at it, that is pretty optimistic. Not sold on this team waltzing into the Superbowl, but still a lot of faith that it is going to make it into the playoffs and have a chance at a run. But after the Houston debacle, will the numbers change? I would think so after reading the multitude of comments, but it is what you think that matters. So cast a vote, and I will followup.
I don't know if these numbers are statistically significant - I ain't no OCC, but then who is besides him? I am just trying to upgrade my WAG about what preseason means to a SWAG, so this is fun anyway.
