So who does Antonio Smith think he is? (Tony Romo threat)
I was listening to Talkin' Cowboys yesterday, and I heard Mickey mention Antonio Smith stated that he had already set aside fine money because he was going to "Tear Tony Romo in half". I sure hope that this word gets out to the rest of the Cowboys and they tack that little quote up on the bulletin board. Did anyone else hear about this before the game? Yesterday was my first time hearing it and, I gotta say, it rubbed me the wrong way. He had already set aside money to pay a fine, for when he hurts our QB in a preseason game. I hope we destroy them in the regular season. I don't wish an injury on any player, no matter what team. However, I hope Schaub is in an immense ammount of pain at the end of the game and their whole team just ends up feeling beat up.
I didn't see this in the posts yet, and if it has been talked about already I apologize for re posting. What do you guys think about this? They tore us a new one...in a preseason game...When it counts, I hope we return the favor 3 fold. Thanks for the time.
*edit* Changed the title so people would actually know what this is referring to without having to open the post

More like 7 fold!....
I love it when people hate on us because it only fuels us up. The reason why the Cowboys have been so great is because of all the hate. Bring it on. I love the fact that we’ve had a rough preseason because it works in our favor in so many ways.
+1
Remember last year Desean said “sting they azzes” or something equally dumb. He didn’t accomplish it and neither will AS

I'm with you guys
I’m looking to get some payback in a big way. Tell these guys to make the playoffs in the franchise history, then give me a holla lol
You aint been around in awhile, maybe you haven't heard........I don't shine shoes no more
The thing is
I don’t even dislike the team. I mean people keep making this seem like a huge Texas rivalry, but the fact of the matter is we are in different conferences and they haven’t ever accomplished anything worthy of rivalry status.

No, I agree totally
I’ve never really even considered them a rival, as you said, they’ve done nothing to achieve that status. I really hope Romo hears about this, and that anger in his eyes during the preseason game carries over to the regular season and he lights them up

I believe we have more than a good chance of just that.
Coach Kubiak said he gameplanned because he wanted that game and week three was forever away in his mind. Well, I dont think he got the memo that what works once in preseason probably isn’t going to cut it when the real deal rolls around. shrugs shoulders oh well, let’em have they’re glory moment. It’ll be their shining accomplishment this season along with the Raiders

True but they hate everything Dallas
I moved to Houston 3 years ago and there is a huge inferiority complex towards Dallas.
Example: there is an airconditioning company here that gives 10% off of service and sales the week after a Dallas loss.
The talk radio is filled with callers hating on Cowboys more than talking about their home town teams.
A gun shop in town warns criminals to take I45 north to Dallas where they feel more at home, etc etc etc.
The Texans openly talk about the Head Coaching position being tied to beating Dallas when they play.
A recent survey of Texan fans listed the victory over the Cowboys in their first game as the high point in franchise history.
Ouch, that's kinda pathetic. I would think they'd save it for teams they
actually play in the regular season more than once every few years. They’re barely a blip on my radar screen.

In their defense, what else do they have?

I can’t help but find it slightly ironic that your avatar is Eli Manning laying on the ground seemingly in pain.
That was after a D-Ware sack
He wasn’t injured on the play, but he was hurtin’
I don’t mind that :)
I do see your point though

So, is your philosophy "Do unto others before they do unto you"?
The new mantra: No more injuries. No more injuries. Everybody now: NO MORE INJURIES!
Or, “do unto others, then run like a mother…”

you know
if one of our OL doesnt dirtslam this guy or pancake him into next week then this team is soft
he should be suspended for saying something like that seriously
not that I needed more to want to destroy this team week 3 but I really want to win this game
by like 20 pts
oh yeah
air the f’n ball out on these guys
their CB’s are soft…..pink cupcake frosting soft
Glover Quinn will get owned
I think Dez and Miles have a field day on these guys if we air it out and then run draws and screens catching them off guard
Bernard Pollard is a liability in pass coverage I would look to expose that too
their run defense is pretty good but their secondary is suspect
That was my first reaction
Who the F—k is Antonio Smith? Probably end up the same as that safety for the Steelers talking junk before Tom Brady burned him for two or three TD’s. Don’t remember his name either.
same reaction
i had to go google his name…
