Normally I'd side with the crowd that says, "You can't have anyone, this isn't fantasy football..."

You guys are spinning your wheels.

Doing this, or going after McNeill, or both would mean Jerry admitting he made a mistake and he’s not going to do that.

I understand that Jerry has a business to run and you can’t give up the farm for one player, but IF the Pats don’t want this guy, and this guy does not want the Pats, i can’t imagine that Jerry can’t work out a deal with the Pat and a contract for this guy.

Our window is only open for so long, and with what i have read about this guy he would be better for the next few years than any drafted player we can get and groom.

I don’t claim to be a GM but sometimes as much as i think Jerry wants to win, i think he would rather spend above average money just to keep the team competative ENOUGH to keep the seats filled and then throw in enough bally hoo to keep people talking about the Cowboys.. i think this O like situation is a perfect example of that… we have needed O line for years and JJ has done little to nothing but bring in or draft ‘names’.
