A tough loss, but at least there weren't many injuries. DeMarcus Ware's injury is not a concussion. Ware lowered his head as he tackled Washington RB Larry Johnson and has reportedly suffered a neck strain/stinger.
"I'm glad it wasn't [a concussion]," Ware said as he walked toward the team bus after the game. "It's just a little tweak in my neck."
Ware said he could have returned to the game if the defense had another series.
