Cowboys Injury Update: Colombo, Kosier Look Good To Go
Coach Wade Phillips has said both Marc Colombo and Kyle Kosier will play in Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. There's no better thing for a Cowboys fan right now than to hear both Koiser and Colombo's names called in the starting lineup Sunday. Montrae Holland held his own last week, but getting our top five linemen back on the field will be a huge relief, even if they have to rotate with the subs for part of the game.
It's not all rosy in the injury department, though. We're going to be missing our starting FB Deon "Cricket" Anderson for a few weeks to a month because of a knee injury. With John Phillips out for the year, Anderson was taking on an expanded role. Now those reps will fall to Chris "Ski" Gronkowski. I liked 'Ski in camp, but mainly for special teams and his hustle. We get to see if he can execute properly under game conditions for a while. Let's go 'Ski.
In another injury story, ILB Sean Lee will likely miss the game with a hamstring injury. His possible replacement? Leon Williams, the man of the up-and-down pre-season. Some plays were awesome, some disaster. In this siutation, he'll likely be replacing Lee on special teams. Said Williams:
And for anybody wondering, DeMarcus Ware is all systems go for Sunday."That's what I'm focused on because I know that could change the game," Williams said. "Coach Joe (DeCamillis), he tells me all the time to make sure that I'm up on everything and know that I can make an impact on special teams."

This is his chance to win the job
We’ve all liked Ski’s versatility, that versatility would be a huge upgrade over Anderson if he became our starting lead blocker.
But he’s got to prove he can lead block… here’s his chance.

Who thought Ware wouldn't play?
Lol. He’d play in a wheelchair if he had to.
Semper Fi Do or Die
Projected 2010 Record: 12-4. You heard it here first
Should be a good game for the boys.
They will get it turned around real quick on Sunday. Hopefully that was our week of injuries and we will be healthy the rest of the way. I hate watching our offense run short routes. It did protect Romo some, but lets open it up on the bears!
The last time Brian Orakpo was held that much was the day his mother brought him home from the hospital. Way to go "Handsy" Barron

I'm worried what it says about Brewster than Barron is still on the roster
I read this morning that they plan to spell Colombo with Barron at times this game as they work him back in.

Please, no Barron unless we are up by 80 points with 3 seconds left in the game.
