I think he makes the team, but I wouldn’t be too surprised if he didn’t. He’s got the bigger upside than a lot of guys, but if his attitude/focus etc limit his ability to reach that potential, he may be seen as too much of a risk in a deep group of WRs. I doubt it, but he didn’t help himself there.

when we first draft him i watched a youtube clip
and in that highlight reel he stood out among that draft class. it is great to see him making plays in the pros now that reflect what was on that prospect reel.

Could this be the end wide receivers Patrick Crayton and Sam Hurd in Dallas?
Both could be suiting up for the Cowboys for the last time in tonight’s preseason final against the Dolphins as both players are being aggressively shopped in trades, multiple team sources said.
What’s most certain is the one or the other will be gone when final cuts are made Saturday.
And there’s a chance that both could be cut if a trade can’t be worked out.

Great game.....
management by Mcgee on both end of half drives. Buehler looked pretty darn good…45 yarder a lil shakey and Butler was a beast tonight. Please more fullback….we have had so much trouble with 3rd and short. Props to Gronk also.

Here's what I saw
McGee looked sharp when he had time, and stood in the pocket firmly even in the face of pressure. He didn’t crumble under pressure and make dumb throws. He made solid reads and even stretched the defense down the field at times. The 40+ yard TD to Hurd was caught in the end zone, so it pretty much traveled 40+ in the air. And it was beautiful.
I didn’t really notice Sean Lee other than a couple of times. I probably should’ve watched him more but I didn’t.
Victor Butler was a beast, even against the 1st-team Phins o-line. He was a nightmare for the Dolphins QBs. He looks like a fantastic 3rd pass rusher option. I’d be interested to see he, DeMarcus, and Anthony all on the field at the same time in special packages (even if all three aren’t blitzing).
I didn’t see Akwasi’s INT, but I heard it wasn’t that impressive. Pretty much it was a lame duck throw from what I heard, but hey, he could’ve dropped it and he didn’t. He made the play, and that’s all that matters, so props to him.
Mike Hamlin had a very nice near-INT as well.
Jesse Holley was ehhh. I love the guy but I just don’t see a spot for him on this team. He had another special teams penalty tonight (I thought it was questionable, but I don’t call the games so my opinion doesn’t matter). The fact is that he is solid at best on special teams and he’s ehhhh at WR. I don’t see him making the team. Sam Hurd had himself a hell of a game, and I don’t think he’s going anywhere. I predict:
Miles
Roy
Dez
Patrick
Sam
Kevin
Those are my 6 WRs who make the team. I’d love to see Holley become a WR for us someday, but it’s not gonna be this year I can tell you that. He still needs to continue working on improving.
Hope this helped. Oh, and Buehler was a beast. I have no worries about him as our K anymore. He had to really work tonight. He had a kick to end each half, both when the Cowboys were down. He nailed the first one from 51 to end the first half at 10-10 and then nailed the last one to win the game from 36. 4/4 on the night with two pressure kicks. Can’t test him any more than that, and he passed the test emphatically.

Not sure if Holley makes it though. Lee has an incredible burst and good to see open field tackles. Pleased with the output tonight. Bring on meaningful games!
