Monday Night Football Open Thread
It's the 1-0 New Orleans Saints at the 0-1 San Francisco 49ers. In four career starts, Saints QB Drew Brees has yet to lose against the 49ers. However, Patrick Willis and Mike Singletary's defense will try to change that.
Feel free to use this thread to discuss tonight's contest between these two NFC teams.

please and thank you… Dallas lost me my 1 o’clock 5 team parlay yesterday. I need something to salvage the weekend.

"Mr. Cowher? There's a Mr. Jones from Dallas on the phone for you."
Give it time. It’ll happen.

Peyton's a coach that actually believes in practice.
I don’t know why wade even makes them practice, since he doesn’t think it’s important
big lumber on the road favorite on MNF against a team that is coming home after
getting thoroughly embarassed last week….
yikes….i see Singletary having the boys amped for this one…
i take SF +6 and may even throw a unit on the moneyline +225
Man alive
Watching this team makes me feel all warm inside about our Cowboys. No wonder Singletary is having multiple meltdowns

Wow look at that.
No drive-killing penalties, no fumbles,
I'm sickened and cannot watch football right now.
2 “easy” games lost.
I never imagined 0-2 against Wash./ Chicago.
11 out of 14 to go 11-5.
Pessimists say the cup is half-empty, while optimists say it's half-full. Well, isn't it both? Realist Larry, 2009

But then again, I’d rather have professional idiots than college idiots.

anyone else watch wade's presser from earlier today?
i’m just wondering if i’m the only one who gets bent out of shape listening to his press conf’s

even after a win, I get bent out of shape with his PC's.
Isn’t it so sad that our most “fiery” coach is none other than former HC/ST coach Campo? That’s an embarrassment of our franchise. DiCamillis gets rowdy every now and then, but Garrett and Wade are freaking zombies.

Except we can't vote against Wade.
Wish there was some fan referendum on both him and JG.
Apparently, he got angry
when a reporter asked him a question suggesting the team lacked discipline. That made him angry.
gotta game goin in San Fran

I was just gonna post.....
oh, so that’s what that fn play is supposed to do…….
anybody....
got any nightmare stories from facing the haters at work/school today? I live in La. and it is brutal to face the Saints bandwagoners after a showing like yesterday.
I live in Arkansas and it is mostly Cowboys fans here. But the radio here today is just freakin horrid. If the NFL is discussed, it is someone bashing the Cowboys.
I'm a lifer myself (since 60)
and I have been pretty bad the last 24 hrs as well, but it stings badly to here it from Aints’ fans.
