Larry Allen ranked 95th in NFL network's top 100 greatest players of all-time
I'm glad he made the top 100, but this is silly. While not being more important to the team than Aikman, Irvin, or Emmitt, I'd say in the sole context of football player he was maybe, MAYBE second only to Emmitt. Now if their criteria of "greatest football players of all-time" includes value to the team, for instance considering how much worse the Cowboys would have been with a mid-tier guard over Larry Allen versus a mid-tier quarterback over Troy Aikman, it makes a little more sense. But in my mind, as a pure football player, Larry Allen is the third best Cowboy of all-time behind Emmitt and Bob Lilly. That deserves better than 95th overall, behind 7 other Cowboys. If a guard other than Jim Parker is ahead of him I'll be supremely dissapointed.

o-line never gets any love
even though they make every thing run. O-line is the Rodney Dangerfield of Football. Except in Emmitt Smith’s case.

He was always dominating remarkably consistent
he’d of gotten more love if he had been involved in things like what happened between Minnesota and Seattle + Steve Hutchinson.
Madden called him the greatest player at his position of all time, that’s major love.

Larry Allen has always been underrated.
He is a guy that never gets enough love for what he achieved.
If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.
I saw it, very cool
Especially John Randle’s commentary. “The man benched 692 lbs, it was like playing against a bear. He would lift you off the ground and laugh. He could knock LB’s 10 yds backwards.”
My only criticism was they didn’t talk about how well he could pull, and that he made a Pro Bowl as both a LG and LT. But still nice that he got some love.
They said there are 8 Cowboys on their list, so far Larry Allen and Michael Irvin were in the 100-91 episode.
Thank you #22, for everything you did for the Cowboys. There will never be another one like you.
So there are six more?
My guess: Aikman, E. Smith, Stauback, Lilly, Dorsett, R. White.
Wish he was there, but probably no chance: Moose. I think he was worth 2 – 3,000 yards of Emmitt’s total. He is my all time favorite Cowboy.
If at first you don't succeed - blame someone else.
Those would be my guesses also
Plus I’m sure Deion will be in there, but not sure he’s considered a Cowboy, more of a gun for hire.

I can't argue with those choices

Shouldn't he be higher than 95? The guy dominated at two positions

Just to make the top 100 is a great honer IMO.
Think how many thousands of players have been in the NFL. The all time greatest player ever was Sammy Baugh IMO. He held 13 records in three positions, QB, DB and kicker. He could do it all.
