PrintRams dumped linebacker Bobby Carpenter, acquired from the Alex Barron trade. Carpenter apparently was so horrible at the linebacker that they tried after trying him at defensive end.
Jerry obviously got the better of this trade as most here thought Carp was never anything more than a Parcells mistake that no-one wanted to own up to. Well needless to say thanks Rams for doing our dirty work. The rich get richer while the Rams remain the Rams.

you have to feel sorry for the guy. I am sure he is a nice guy. I wish him well somewhere.
Carp Is A Nice Guy
. . . he just is not a NFL pro football player; he would be All Pro in a flag football league. I think he is afraid of real contact. Nothing wrong with that – I would fall into that category. Just don’t try and play football for a living.

…he made a few million dollars getting picked mid-first round. He’s just not cut out for the big league. He should just take his money and health and go start a new chapter of his life outside the NFL.

Don’t feel too sorry for him, he has become a millionaire just by sucking at LB for a few years.

as he is considered to be superior to Kevin Burnett.
Barron has exatcly set the world on fire since joining the Cowboys
I think the fact that he is still on the 53 man roster says more about the Cowboys lack of talent and depth on the offensive line then it does about Barron’s play.
