KDP presents "TEN FOR TEN" another awesome BTB contest
Can you feel the excitement!?!?!? It's BACK! NFL Football starts tomorrow. And with it, gamblers all over the world rejoice. Fantasy Fanatics are trying to figure out if their starting RB's face a defense tough enough to warrant a benching in favor of a better situation for a lower-drafted player. Me? I'm doing all of the above.
One of my favorite sideline activities is what I have termed 'TEN FOR TEN'... allow me to give a little background. Vegas loves teasers parlays and round robins. When you place these bets, you greatly increase the payout you'd receive, but by adding the add'l games you obviously increase the chances of being wrong. If you have three games you feel strongly about and bet the same amount on each, the winnings will be dwarfed when compared to if you rolled all three games together into a parlay. However, if you only get 2 out of 3 right then you don't win anything as compared to winning 2 of 3 indy bets.
Non gamblers are confused right now... experienced gamblers are nodding in approval as they remember the bad beat parlays they've suffered... I can't remember how many times I've had a 5-team parlay contingent on the Sunday or Monday night game results, and been let down.
What I've done over the last couple years is started to make a TEN for TEN bet. I'll be honest... in two years I've yet to hit a perfect 10 for 10. I got a 9 out of 10 once last year, but the loss was an early game so there wasn't much excitement generated. Basically what you do is, take a look at all 16 games (or however many are on the sched for the week) and pick an outright winner for each. No point spreads, no over/unders-- just an outright winner.
Then, find the 10 games that you are MOST confident in and place the minimum bet allowed (normally $10).If you ever hit it, you are looking at a near 1000x payout (dependent on the ML). So when I place my bets for the week, I consider the 10 for 10 a betting tax. Play it every week... probably won't win, but it's like an educated lottery scratchoff.
So, I bring you the 10 for 10 contest. Take a look at this weeks game, predict the 10 you feel most confident about and submit them. Who knows, you might be a betting aficionado and not even know it.

"Yeah, he's good. Dez Bryant is smooth, fast and has velcro hands.... He's going to give his QBs a giant comfort zone; if you throw it in his vicinity, odds are very good that he'll catch it."- Rafeal Vela, 1st day of 2010 training camp.

doh don't know how I did 49ers twice doesn't matter I stand by it
I actively recognize my own stupidity, thank you!!!
And there are 3 quality teams in that mix
most likely… they will all win :)
week 1 is always tough to gauge, because it rarely indicates the true quality teams… alot of other factors beside team quality are at play in week 1.

Ummm
And there are 3 quality teams in that mix
Taking a stab at you meaning Min, Phi, NYJ? Buffalo is awful and Was plays us so they can’t be who you mean. But this
most likely… they will all win :)
Is doubtful at best IMO. Min has a torn up secondary against the best passing team in the game. Phi has a lot of unanswered question marks on defense as well against a prolific offense and they still have yet to prove their offense can perform with Kolb at the helm. And lastly NYJ I think is hurting especially because of the Revis holdout and Baltimore got much better this off season. I don’t see any of the 5 listed winning much less 3 of them winning “most likely”

you are correct sir
i was speaking of those three.
my statement of they’ll most likely win was more so about the fact that week 1 is so unpredictable

I agree unpredictable,
but I would give 100 to 1 odds those three don’t all pull off a win… Who knows though I’m no Nostradomus

10 visiting teams win
Carolina at …maybe just wishful thinking, shelie can’t recover from seeing his new scar
Atlanta at…Dixon and that O line kill pittsburgh
Miami at…Da bills doh
Detroit at…I don’t like Cutler…this is my upset pick…Suh has big game
Arizona at…they are going to be bad, but they are playing against a rookie qb 1st game
San Francisco at…they win the west
Green Bay at…second best team in nfc
Dallas at…come on, how bout them Cowboys
Baltimore at…hard to pull for the birds, but harder to cheer for a Ryan (I’m a buddy hater)
San Diego at…I like Norv more than I hate rivers
Mark it down. Some of these picks should win. lol
Do you think Cutler will cry
if he gets “Suh Smashed” like Delhomme did? I think so

I would've been soooooo angry.
I called his 5 pick game last year against the 49ers and now everyone I work with thinks I’m a prophecy. I said, I’m no prophecy everyone one knows Cutlers garbage…. with the exception of the Bears. They got to find out the hard way.
