No Practice For Marc Colombo, Likely Out For Sunday
The news isn't good, Marc Colombo will miss today's practice and sources say he won't play on Sunday. The news is the same for Kyle Kosier, who we kind of knew wasn't going to play anyway.
Dallas Cowboys right tackle Marc Colombo won't practice Thursday and is not expected to play in Sunday night's season opener against the Washington Redskins, a source told ESPNDallas.com.

Hmm,
Do you mean “Rollouts” like the play? Or rolling out from under the pile?!?…..This could get ugly.

Columbo sucks
we wont being seeing the scene where Columbo gets smoked by his man, looks around wobbling like wtf happened
Kosier we need more than Columbo
No we'll see barron get pushed around like a tight end. We'll see martellus stay in and help a lot. and hopefully we wont see kitna unless its in the fourth quarter and he's nursing a sizeable lead.
Don't believe everything you think.
Your causes are cute!!!
This is just great.....
Our C- Offensive Lineman are too hurt to play, so we have to start our D- OL guys…. Romo is leaving in an ambulance with Mike Shanni calling crazy blitzes!!! Argh!!!
Better be practicing screens right now...
And they better get the ball quickly into the RB’s hands via the PASS, so they don’t get killed at the line trying to run through non-existant holes…
The old adage is
that older players don’t necessarily get hurt more so much as they take longer to heal. That’s why seeing injured O-lineman fills me with such dread. I hope this waiting game doesn’t become the story of the season…
Put Free back at RT and start Barron at LT.
There has been talk of that, but I doubt if they do it.

Why would you make your most important position on O line weaker and put a guy in a different position than he has been working all offseason on becoming good. Moving people around was not the answer. Drafting linemen or trading for guys like wells, dockerry, jamaal brown, andrews was the answer. Instead of having 3 running backs, 6 receivers, get a god damn O linemen so that our pro bowl qb will have enough time to throw. Give up a 1 and a 2 for roy williams and than follow that up by using a 1 on a receiver. Thats 2 first round picks and a 2nd round pick for williams and bryant who may not catch 10 balls between them with romo running for his life.

No way
Free is the best, he stays on the left (I made a rhyme)

hope romo is prepared
for a bunch of lookout blocks by the OL..in case u don’t know what that means you will see holland turn around and yell at romo LOOKOUT!
Off the subject.
I heard in NO the schools are closed , city hall closed at noon and the bars are full. Who Dat nation is already in a frenzy.

I think the Saints will be on Favre,
like a duck on a Junebug. I doubt he finishes the game. Take the Saints at -4 1/2

No way
Vikings pass rush will dominate Brees. Everyone forgets the Turnover battle is what cost the Vikings.. they dominated every other aspect. Can you count on AD fumbling with 30secs left in the half on the 15yard line.. no
Go Vikes crush Who Dat nation
Really?! Really?!
If he fits at all keep Barron at LT
I can’t recall his perfomance of prior preseason games but watched a replay of the Miami game last night . Barron at RT looked very slow. Cant keep up we speed rushers was caught for holdiing and may have looked like held other times. We need a veteran free agent pickup or risk losing Romo.
He was just as bad on the left

I thought so, too
The Cowboys ran a neat 75% overall from heavy formations. Defensive coordinators knew what was coming -- but it didn't matter. - Rafael Vela
Just got back from Barfing Green Nation
You’re not going to believe this, but those guys are auctioning off a frickin “Man Date” with their middle linebacker!
No homo, but that’s gotta be the gayest thing I’ve ever heard of.
Deaf as a stone, dumb as a Bohr.
They have a mike linebacker?
Could have fooled me.

Maybe they call it
the Michelle Linebacker. Damned if I know, those people crazy.
Deaf as a stone, dumb as a Bohr.
Actually, here's what's going to happen
They’re going to raffle off a dinner with their inside linebackers and it’s going to be just a table with two empty chairs.

Witten likely.....
one catch as he will be blocking all night.
I have little faith in most them but I’m willing to suffer with free who has upside. Put Brewster in there if plan “A” fails which I suspect. again, it looks like another 5 year project is being planned.
It’s the thinking that is all wrong aside from events.
If the Cowboys win this game
the sky is the limit. With all of the question marks about this team, a win could lead to some great things this season
the defense will win the game
and I think that will happen more often than not this year until the OL can get healthy
In Romo we Trust
Man the way we're talkin here
It’s like our Offensive linemen are crippled old farts who will get broke in half by these big badass Redskin defense. For some reason, I just don’t feel that scared about it. Just reading their fan’s comments gives me so much confidence. They know they suck worse than we do obviously, hmmm
Just becuz you put yer boots in the oven don't make it bread

well we didn't exactly light up the scoreboard
against Washington in either game last year. Coming out of this offseason, I think most football fans would agree the Redskins have improved on an already solid defense…thus, the anxiety and hand-wringing you see here.
Pirates Vs. Ninjas? Psh......Cowboys, baby.
The match-up of their Pro-Bowl OLB (Orakpo) versus our RT (Barron) is big in their favor
and I think Holland will struggle when they line up Albert Haynesworthless in his face
WOW
We should just stay home this week. By the sound of things we are playing the best team in the NFL this week. Did you ever think that we have the best OSLB and they are starting 2 new tackles???
Funny how things work
last year, Dallas was a healthy team starting the season, and the Eagles were ravaged by injuries.
This year, Dallas is ravaged by injuries, and the Eagles are the healthiest team in the NFL right now.
Go figure.
Thank God Washington has their share of issues.
McNabb’s bad ankle, Haynesworth causing his usual trouble. I just hope they can get healthy before they have to play another elite team. OL should have been more of a draft priority.
