So Rob Ryan is now on board as our Defensive Coordinator.  Who are going to be the defensive assistants?  Do the Cowboys keep Brett Maxie, Dave Campo, Reggie Herring and the bunch?  Or do they go out and hire new assistants?  I say Rob Ryan will totally revamp the defensive assistants.

Jason Garrett has the final say on the staff but you know Rob Ryan will have some input on the matter.  Most likely this has already been discussed as part of the agreement in his hiring.  According to sources (says Jason La Canfora of NFL.com) both sides came away impressed in the interviews Friday, so most likely Jason Garrett and everyone approves of who he might hire (or the type of people he wants on the staff).  It will be interesting to see what this staff looks like next year.  After that we'll finally get to see what the roster will look like.  Of course that will be a process over the course of the entire offseason with the draft and a later free agency signing period
