Quick Picks NFL Playoffs : Wild Card Week

New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks are the first NFL team to ever make the playoffs with a losing record. Seattle has one of the loudest stadiums and will host the 11-5 Saints. This rule is really messed up the team with the better record deserves the home game. Division Champion or not. The Saints are the defending Champions looking to defend their title.

Key of the Game : Seattle's secondary. The Saints are banged up at the half back position. Thomas and Ivory and out for this weeks game so they'll rely on Drew Brees' arm for todays game.

Prediction : 34-13 Saints

New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts

The Colts won their last four games to win the AFC South. The Jets made the playoffs on a week where they lost, but so did the Jaguars. This is a rematch of the AFC Title game a season ago. I expect a different outcome this time. The Colts have been banged up all year including their stud WR. Reggie Wayne is questionable, but I expect him to play. The Jets need to focus on their defense in this game.

Key of the Game : Jets offense. The Jets can't allow Freeney and Mathis to get a good rush off the corners. Sanchez is mobile and athletic so I expect a ton of plays where Sanchez is passing on the run. The Jets need to get good yardage on 1st and 2nd down so they can get the short yards with Greene and LT on 3rd down.

Prediction : 24-17 Jets

Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are looking to get their first playoff win since a long time ago. The Ravens pride themselves on their defense and run stopping ability while the Chiefs are on of the best running teams in the league. Charles and Jones are solid running backs. I think the Ravens have the more complete team though I think the Chiefs have a good young secondary. Berry and Flowers are great players. I just think Flacco, Rice, and Boldin will put up enough points for the win.

Key of the game: Ravens need to stop the Chiefs run game. If not I think the Chiefs will win this game. They're dangerous and explosive. Not only in the run game with Charles, but in the passing game with Bowe and  Dexter McCluster.

Prediction : 20-10 Ravens

Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles

This is the prime time game of this weekend. Clay Mathews knocked out Kevin Kolb to start the Cinderella story of Mike Vick and he hopes he can do the opposite this week. Many people love the story of Mike Vick and the Eagles, but why are so many picking the Packers then? I know why Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is accurate, has a strong arm, and is mobile.

Key of the Game : Containing Mike Vick. The Packers need to contain Vick if they want to win. It's been done and the past few weeks Vick has looked somewhat contained. He has been taking a lot more hits towards the end of the season. I think the Packers defense will give him a fight this week and Mathews will have a sack.

Prediction : 27-24 Packers
