A big hello to all the loyal Blogging the Boys readers! I'm a writer over at Turf Show Times, and before I get too far, let me give a shout out to One.Cool.Customer, who helped me a great deal not long ago. Thanks again O.C.C. for the
Cowboys playbook ...Er-uh, I mean the HTML for our weekly NFL picks post...
So it's time for yet another chapter to be written in St. Louis/L.A. Rams - Dallas Cowboys history. This time, the game will include two teams that have had more than their fair share of injuries... With a slight edge to the Rams in sheer volume of injuries at corner back. Questions abound about these two teams, since both have higher expectations than either of their win-loss records to date would indicate. No way I could have imagined the Rams being 0-5 at this point, and Dallas has experienced at least competitive, though emotionally crushing, defeats to some outstanding teams this season.
The Rams just can't seem to catch a break. Just when we sign an exception #1 WR, the man who is actually supposed to throw the ball to him goes down to an ankle injury on the last play of the Green Bay Packers game... Dallas has had their share of travails at the hands of the injury Gods. DeMarcus Ware may be hobbled a bit going into a game against one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL? Tony Romo's ribs have to be on Cowboy Fan's minds? Our starting offensive left tackle, Rodger Safford, won't be on the field Sunday. This makes for a rather dull double edged sword, since he's responsible for 8 of the 21 time Sam Bradford's been sacked.
So how about it! Let loose those question dogs, and the TST faithful will do our best to answer. We'd love the opportunity to ask questions of you too. Should any of the TSTers not remember they are a guest in your house, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Here's to a Great Game!
