So far this season, we've had, both the toughest schedule, and close games, yet none of them seemed like season killers to me. We were at NY on 9/11, @New England, and against the undefeated Lions. I've been able to find a moral victory in these defeats with saying we've had the second toughest schedule in the league, need time to implement RR's defensive schemes, and a young O-line that is trying to gell under JG's first full year. We've completed the toughest part of our schedule and are 2-3 in a mediocre division.
But.....if we lose to the winless Rams with an injured Bradford, I fear our season will be done. There will be no excuses left. We have to take care of business and not play down to our competition. This week really scares me. We should win, but it's the NFL. We'll be in a deep hole, psychologically and mathematically, if we lose. This is certainly the most important week of the year so far.
