The Beast that is Dez
Hello everyone, this is my first post.
Is anyone else besides me just a tad nervous when Dez get the ball and refuses to go down? I love his tenacity, anger, violence, whatever all combined with the swagger and stones of youth. But you know, as we've all seen before, someone is going to come up from behind him and just wait for the ball to get away from his body and punch it out. I'm surprised that it hasn't been mentioned anywhere by anyone(all the talking heads) that he put that ball away! The bad part about experiences is that more time than not, something not good has to happen in order for you to reflect on and ultimately change it. Dez, if you happen to read this...COVER THE BALL!!!!!!

You're gonna get a fan shot.
He shouldn’t be returning punts. That is an injury waiting to happen because of his style.
Jerry is the end all in Dallas.
Hmm this isn't your first post?
Either way this really should be a fanshot or a just a comment in any active thread. Please remove this and post it there.

Maybe he wanted to forget about the post he wrote including things like
When was the last time anyone stood up for a coward. Dallas Cowboys, you are cowards. Congratulations. Imagine being prouder of the Lions than America’s team.

Actually
This was beaten to death last season after the first time he did it. Game 1 of his Cowboys career he did it twice on Angela Hall, once even body slamming the cornerback. And it has been mentioned everytime he did it since. I wasn’t there, but I’m guessing if you go to the game day threads and look, you’ll see that it was probably mentioned there last Sunday.
Who are you? And how did you get in here?

im less worried about fumbles
as i am with twisting a knee or ankle when he gets tangled up with three defenders every play.
How he manages to hold onto the ball amazes me
I was actually saying that during the game watching it with my dad. It does allow him to be a little more physical and “punch” players out of the way or give some extra shove, but if he loses the ball we’ll all be saying “See? I told you so…” But until that happens you almost just have to let him play and do what he does.

I would enjoy seeing Dez get the ball in stride in space ........
I do enjoy watching Dez monster up on defenders, but at the same time i do worry about him being injured and or losing the ball. I can only hope that, thaat part of maturity will hit home sooner than later………..
Paging Mr Robinson……..
We have a WR rampaging in his cage ………………..

Id say RIP Al Davis, but i know your up there drunker than a monkey and clocking angels in the 40 yd dash.
if they would run a fly with him, stride in space right there
and have Romo throw the ball ahead of him, that would be nice

With the type of crowd Dez is attracting after the catch
Dez could be the best hook and lateral man of all time. I would love to see, Dez to Miles or Felix. Could be big. I hope Andy Reid dosn’t read this.
I agree about him getting the ball in space
His speed in the open field is pretty ungodly. He’s so big that his strides just cover crazy amounts of ground. I’d like to see more slants (i.e. what John Kitna said Roy Williams ran better than anyone in football…ugh) with Romo getting the ball out ahead of him and having him catch it in stride and just take it to the house. I mean, he’s done this a few times, but I’d like to see it happen more often than Romo airing up slightly underthrown balls and making him go battle for it and then fight off three guys. The more he gets the ball in route the better. Granted, some of this might be due to the fact that he’s still young and learning to understand the routes and everything.
Cowboys pride in the Mountain State
Felix Jones needs to becomes the kickoff returner.
He is a space player. He would be best untilized returning kicks and 3rd down swing passes.
