In my opinion, if the Colts or Rams end up with the number one pick, they'll trade it.
With the new CBA and rookie salary cap, I think we’re gonna see A LOT more trades in the first round this year.

I don't agree. Look at what Manning has meant to them and how bad they are without him.
Manning may never play again and if he does he can mentor Luck a year or 2, or they could trade him. But with Manning’s age and health issues you can’t pass up the next him.
The Colts of all people know just how valuable a QB of his quality is.
I agree with that.
But if Manning says that he’s gonna play another 4-5 years, wouldn’t they want to trade down, collect picks, and upgrade at other positions?

I wouldn't, smart teams move along when it's time. SF let Montana go and he still had a little gas in the tank.
Colts could get at least a #1 for Manning, if he checks out ok.

I think Manning means too much to that franchise and fan base for them to move on.
Even if it’s the right time.

Jerry let Troy go and he won 3 SBs.
I’d let Romo go in a heartbeat to get Luck, and I’m a Romo fan.

the NFL is a cold business
when it’s your time, it’s your time. When will the Colts have this opportunity again? When you have the chance to draft a QB of Luck’s caliber, you pull the trigger no matter what

He said he was going to play this year to, and they gave him a huge contract for it.
At his age and iffy future I would take Luck in a heartbeat.
Colts will be on Luck like a duck on a junebug.

Any team that can get Luck is going to take Luck and keep him
Even St Louis. What a chance to clean house they have now
check out my bands nanoSMASH and Day vs Night
No way Rams can take luck
Bradfords contract is too huge to unload.

actually Big
it’s not that bad…
Signed a six-year, $78 million contract. The deal contains $50 million guaranteed, including all six years’ base salaries and a $2.88 million first-year roster bonus. Another $8 million is available through incentives based on playoff, Super Bowl, and Pro Bowl appearances. 2011: $405,000 (+ $17.974 million “signing” bonus), 2012: $1.205 million, 2013: $2.005 million, 2014: $2.805 million, 2015: $3.605 million, 2016: Free Agent
so it looks like the Rams put the signing bonus entirely into the 2011 year, which means no proration…. Base Salary that is left is < 10 Million total… heck I would say if Bradford is Offered, Dallas should take him…..
Here’s a theoretical play from 2010: Snap. Tony takes 7 step drop. Tony looks left at Miles, who is doubled, and looks right to where Roy Williams should be…but instead sees Colombo on his back and a Defensive End foaming at the mouth jumping over Marc’s carcass. Tony proceeds to run like hell and look for Witten

Am I the most optimistic Cowboys fan in the World? Yes, due to an "unfortunate accident" to the previous holder of the title.
Now, if somebody doesn’t agree with that, that’s cool. I also don’t agree with the fact that I don’t have $10 million in my bank account. But the fact that I don’t agree with it doesn’t make it any less true.
