Was a great game here today. From someone who has been a Boys fan since the early 70's but was taken to the Cotton Bowl in a stroller since the start of the franchise, being here today was a great day. I was simply in awe of Romo in the first half. I have rarely seen such a great performance.
Murray was still lights out. I think Felix will get a chance to see if he compares in the same circumstance but Murray will end up being the starter. Great pick with him this year.
The secondary is very good and beyond belief. We have 9 DB's in the secondary. Newman and Jenkins just play starters. Scandrick and Walker play corner and safety. Scandrick, Ball and Walker also play ST. Sensi, Elam, McCray and Church play Safety, Corner, ILB and ST. Talk about a versatile group. Next draft is flat deep at DB, we can only go up from here as I see it, but it will be a very tough choice.
Let's give a shout to a great Dline. The did bend but not break. Between the the Dline and LBs almost half of SFB's passes he has someone in his face. I realy should not call Fitz an SFB, he is a good QB.
Fitz was under pressure most of his passes and our guys up front and LB's need to take a bow.
Sean "Cement Qtip" Lee did very good when he was on there.
Let us give a shout to OCC who said 21 in the first quarter and build from there would win. He was only a few minutes off.
Dez looked great. The route he ran on the first TD called for him to not go fade but stop and come back. The CB blocked him but he jumped over and got the TD. Great play by him. That is the magic we all want to see from him.
Robinson is dang good. Norv Turner was talking about him at camp to anyone who whould listen. Robinson fell into a numbers game with the Chargers and we won in Dallas.
Last of all, I think the Boys looked very good and beat a very good team.
Boys have 2 days off, but I know a few players who are ready to go back to work in the morning with me. Well probably IMHO 56 or so player who will be working in the morning.
