Tashard Choice cut by Skins: take my Poll!
Poor Tashard Choice continues his slide from grand possibilities to average Joe, as he was cut by the Skins today. I feel Dallas mismanaged his promising career, although he certainly left them the option to do so with his poor blocking and lack of understanding his assignments. At least he always took the high road. The skins signed him last week, before they played Dallas and cut him two days after playing them...which begs the question: did he have a legit shot to be their RB or were they using him just to help against Dallas. What do you think?

I don't know if this is cheating
But there is something immoral about signing a former team’s player to face off against that team and then drop them after the game. If anything, it is worse than anything a certain New England coach did. Hopefully the NFL will launch an investigation.
I'm a proud fan of the Minnesota Twins and Dallas Cowboys!

What the heck are you talking about?
Investigation? What was Choice going to reveal? Plus NFL teams do this all the time. Lets cost everyone their draft picks now so no new talent will be allowed in the NFL. Kevin Kolb did this for the Cardinals against the Eagles. Its the decision you make when cutting or trading guys who have been in your system for a while. Choice really had no dirt on the offense seeing how we scored 27 points. No investigation needed. Choice sucked and they have Helu.
Realist.
Choice could theoretically reveal calls for audibles, signals, etc.
But as you said, it is part of the game

There is nothing wrong with this at all. It is part of the NFL landscape

He's still getting paid
he’s a vet and was on the roster in week one, his salary is guaranteed for the year…although i don’t know who foots the bill for it now, Dal or Was.
Did Washington claim him on waivers
or pick him up as a FA? If he was a free agent, he gets paid by Dallas for sure. And I believe his Washington checks (probably for league minimum) are like found money.
I'm a die hard Cowboys fan who would love nothing more than the 'skins to lose draft picks
but they did nothing wrong. Players change teams all the time, and there was no top-secret info that Choice could reveal.

Then put more thought into it.
The community guidelines are there for a reason. Knowing you cant post a FanShot with a poll just means you need to put more work into your article portion. Also this isn’t even Cowboys related.

Seriously?
Who the hell are you to even make this comment? Why don’t you make your own damn posts and I’ll make mine!
What, are you trolling the posts to criticize the fans posting rather than the team?
275 people found the topic interesting enough to read and vote.
Oh, and how is this not Cowboys related? A Cowboys ex player, who was the topic of great debate and discussion over the years, is cut by Dallas in the last 3 weeks, the week after he is cut, he is signed by our rival, to play aginst us, and then is cut right after. Totally Cowboys related..and again, 275 people agreed.
Get a life.
Wow overreact much?

Considering the Redskins lack RB depth...
and gave Choice 6 carries, which is 1 more than Garrett gave Felix Jones BTW, I think he had a legit shot. He just failed to capitalize on it.
One nice run for 9 yards followed by five pathetic ones, for a combined -2 yards, will not get you back on the field and will get you sent packing. About the only way he could have hurt his case further is by coughing up the ball. But, he only seems to like doing that when playing against the Redskins.
Rabid and luvin' it
Shanahan eats and spits out RB's
Shanahan has a long history of using RB’s for short term benefit. His position has always been it’s not the back it’s the system. Re: Q. Griffiin, Tatum Bell, etc. He as even waived league leading rushers if they weren’t performing at the moment. So used and abused is the response but it has little to do with the Cowboys.

I don't think Choice really has a future in the NFL.
I think he is a decent runner, but if you can’t pass protect, you’re not going to have a job. Also, if you don’t play special teams well, your value is dimished further still.
and he can't play STs

Choice just got picked up by the bills

Well...
unless we see them in the SB, we shouldn’t be seeing the Bills again for quite awhile.
Rabid and luvin' it
I think he done more harm
when he was a Cowboy
I was on the Choice bandwagon right into this year
I think once he gets in rhythm somewhere, he’ll be effective but there were two things that always bugged me about him: pass blocking (as you mentioned) and fumbling problems. In addition, his plea for Michael Vick’s autograph really hurt him around these parts….
