Done with Romo: A golf analogy

Drive for show, putt for dough. I can no longer "wait" for Romo to make the putt. This last game was my last straw. Make the throw, win the division. Period. Make the putt and win. Miss the putt and lose. It is that simple. Tony Romo has had five years to start winning meaningful games. He has not done it. He is all stats. AKA Drive for show. When the game is on the line, and all he has to do is make a play, he does not. AKA Misses the putt.

I sadly say I am off the Romo wagon. Too many putts have been missed.

Now, I know alot of people will say it was the defense that lost the game to the Giants. BUT, it the LEADER of this team makes the throw, or putt, the defense does not have to play again. Make the putt and win, or miss the putt and lose. It is no simpler than that.

I cannot remember when I was not a Cowboy fan. Thanks to my TV yelling at Dad, I have been a Cowboy fan my whole life. If the Cowboys somehow make the playoffs by winning the next three, I will gladly reassess my view. But right now, I no longer have faith in Tony Romo to make the putt.
