I think there is no chance of this, but there it is

Not with that contract.
Five years, $90M contract with $54.4M guaranteed for a 35 year old QB (will be 36 in Mar ‘12) that is coming off of several neck surgeries? Not freakin’ likely. Not even for Peyton Manning.
The Colts would have to cut him for it to have any chance of happening. Even then, could you imagine Peyton Manning behind this OL? The man was a magician with his mind and arm, not with his feet. It’d be reminiscent of Drew Bledsoe(2005-2006).
I’m still of the opinion that the Colts will draft Luck and keep Peyton for one more season to help pass along his preparation skills and knowledge. Then, Peyton will retire and ride off into the sunset a Colts hero.
Rabid and luvin' it
Now lets not shut the door here.
If he is willing to be the backup QB/ Offensive Coordinator than he is welcome here haha.
Yes
I know Romo is doing fine on the field but as a leader Peyton would boost this team to new heights! Dez and Miles true potential would be unleashed. Not gonna happen but I can dream.
What a joke of an article
These teams have franchise qbs:
Bears, Chargers, Eagles, Falcons, Giants, Packers, Patriots, Raiders, Saints, Steelers
But not the cowboys? Carson Palmer and Mike Vick are franchise qbs? Based on what season? 4 years ago? Has this joker even seen a cowboys game this year?

Agreed completely.
This pretty much sums the article up. I certainly would take Romo over Carson Palmer any day of the week. Hell, I’d take Romo over half of those teams listed.

No, no, no, no. Peyton is obviously better
but the Colts were built around Peyton and the Cowboys are more suited to Romo. Part of Romo’s skill package is his ability to escape sacks, twirl around and target open open receivers on the run. Peyton would get killed behind our line.
Unless Peyton could drastically improve the secondary, I wouldn’t want him here.

Peyton gets killed behind that line too
Its not like the Colts have some great OL. Peyton gets hit a lot, but he gets the ball out so fast and so accurately, that he makes the line look decent.

Let me know when Peyton becomes a shutdown corner
Don’t need an upgrade at QB. Romo is one of only 4 QBs this year with a 100+ QB Rating. We need some DBs who can actually cover somebody.
Manning is going to the ...
Redskins. Hate to say it but they have the track record of signing vets.
