Dez Bryant switches agents
I saw this on PFT yesterday and hadn't seen it discussed here. Anyone else worried about a possible holdout this upcoming season?

i disagree on this this guy is worth more than the
1 or 3 mill he is paid a season..

I'm not your "guy," buddy.
That somebody relatively new here who causes the collective IQ of this whole blog to drop at least 10 points every time he posts is telling someone who’s been around as long as I’ve been is telling me to “get lost” is hilarious.
Here’s a hint: we welcome other people’s opinions here. We love people adding different perspectives. But when you come in with opinions that clearly aren’t well-thought-out, you insult everyone else, and then you tell older members of the blog to “get lost,” that doesn’t sit well with the rest of us.
We welcome cocky people here. We even welcome people who behave stupidly here. We don’t welcome people who are both.

I think you have it backwards! Rosenhaus is considered a friend to the Cowboys.
I like this because Rosenhaus is a pro who micromanages his players. He’ll help him stop making these bungled financial decisions. And certainly, Dez hasn’t done enough to warrant a hold out.

Pure speculation. No where is there any info that Dez has shown in any way that he is unhappy with his deal, or that he wants a new one.
Remember when he was drafted there were a lot of stories of how he would surely hold out. And he was the first 1st rounder signed at all.

But we don’t even know why he changed. He could have had a falling out with his last agent for all we know.

He's represented some diva receivers, but the Cowboys actually have a good relationship with Rosenhaus
For what it’s worth, I knew this was coming before it was announced. I have a friend who saw both Rosenhaus and Bryant at North Park a few days ago.
Whoever said this is about endorsements and not holdouts is correct—remember the trouble Bryant had with shoe endorsements his first year? Rosenhaus will get Dez some money that doesn’t come from the Cowboys organization, and he’ll help keep the kid out of trouble (not that I was concerned about that anymore in the first place).
Rosenhaus does not get pain until he negotiates a deal for Dez. He is going to push for a new deal for Dez

Drew is a solid agent
He offers a much broader set of services than Parker does. I would say him and Jack Betcha who both adovocate longterm career planing, finacial planning, post sports career planing and preperation, off season training are just some of the resons he signed with Drew. It is not always about just contract negotiations, but to better yourself and career along with thinking longterm. This is a great move by Dez.
One other thing, Dez cannot even start to ask for a new deal until the end of next season under the new CBA rules.

Meh, my initial reaction was negative
bc of his antics with TO in Philly and Dez needing a more stable influence, but I doubt Dez would hold out bc his performance wasn’t commensurate with TO’s at the Eagles, who like to underpay.
