We @ Cowboy Nation Welcome The Giants To Their Doom.
Since the Saturday Game I have been out of sorts. I think the thing mostly missed was the Eagles / Cowboys game being virtually stillborn. Pumping up all week and then almost immediately it was done, No answers found, No real knowledge gained. Basically we have to wait 2 weeks for the game for the Divisional title. Mwahahaha. The Giants. What a bunch of Giant tools. I think they've lost 8 of their last 7 and somehow they're still in the playoff hunt. IF WE COULD CLOSE MORE GAMES THIS WOULD ALL BE DONE. So we expect to see our team learn how to finish. How to close out games. How to hit it right, leaving everyone satisfied. That's what people learn to respect. We know Romo will bring his A game. How many other Cowboys will also? I expect Ware, Ratliff, Witten, Jones, Lee, Austin, Bryant, Robinsons, Jenkin and hopefully Randy White, Drew Pearson, Darren Woodson and Michael "Freaking" Irvin to also be large and in charge.
The Giants. Hmm. Let's talk about Eli Manning. MVP Candidate. Super Bowl Champion.
Derp. Derp. I make face. He has amused me over the years more than any other QB other than his brother. What's his name. They make faces like we're all mute and the only translatable option is charades. Derp. Giants, your QB has my respect, but he makes me laugh. Uncomfortable Eli. Ticked off Eli. Menstruating Eli. He brings a lot of faces to the game. One of the things I respect most this year is that he has almost lost that facial humor that has marked so much of his career. He seems more settled. Maybe it relates to Peyton not playing. Imagine being one of the best in the world, but your bro was THE best to some people. Would that not suck? This year it has been just him. And he's shined like Romo. Neither team is here if not for the QB. And whoever plays better on Sunday night might just be the winner. A serious aside. Since 1970 the QB's with an over 140 rating have never lost a game. Until Romo lost to the Giants. I think it's now 72-1. So let's both accept that our QB's need to play well. And someone else needs to step up.
The Giants D. Fuggadaboutit. We will pass. We will run. And all you get to do is mewl and whimper as it happens. We have played well at Giants Stadium over the last few years. And we will on Sunday. You will fall under the pressure. You will gack on the defensive strategy. And you will lose. And will it not hurt more than anything to lose to us? Your hated rival. Winning it in the building you share. Sorry. We own ours. May be it's overpriced and quiet, but things can be fixed. Your fans will turn on you. And the game will be over. I know you want to win, but Sunday is ours. We are a young team taking steps to be world class. You are simply a step we have to take. And upon your prone body will be our first step. Thank you for supplying it.
In 2011 we announced our presence with authority. And people heard, How far may we go? I don't know. But there are no Defenses left in the NFC other than Detroit. I would play our Offense against anyone. And see how it shakes out. Good luck to the Giants. As far as I must. Someones season ends on Sunday night. And it will be yours. With a long off season to follow. We believe in Romo and our team. Do you believe in yours? I hope so and laugh at it. By the end of Sunday we will own the East. And it will continue for years to come.

I hope you will add Eli's Happy Face to your memory when he shows it late Sunday night.

it's all the same face
he’s the Keanu Reeves of Quarterbacks
nygmen123: Again, without Vick or Maclin, or Cromartie. Injuries don't seem to bother them. They just bring in guys to make plays
nygmen123: Stopped the Pats on the first series. Planted Brady twice. Guess what gang? This team isn't quitting. Or making excuses.
Simms-McC: Yeah -- I wish the Giants were more like the Eagles

Love your attitude, BH!
You can lead a duck to water, but if it wants to fly, you will never get it to swim.
WAY TO GO BLOODY.
i love this post.
i hope it sparks a flame under everyone who posts here.
we need to show the giants we will not go quietly into the night.
that we will rise our blades swiftly, and our blows be mighty.
we shall never surrender, we shall not admit defeat.
and let everyone know that after sunday night, they will remember our name as we stand over their bloody and battered bodies.
and in the moment that they do so they will be saying
" you have been weighed, you have been measured, and now you have been left wanting. "
as we ride into the sunset.

I posted it over there
in the middle of one of their main story threads in response to another comment, and all sorts of craziness ensued. Fun times…those guys are real jokers over there.

NY GIANTS rallying cry
We shall go on to end.
We shall fight in the seas and oceans
We shall fight on the landing grounds
We shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air!
We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be
We shall fight on the beaches, and in the streets
We shall fight on hills, we shall never surrender!
From what I remember of “Churchill’s Speech.”

Cool. Great speech.
So, you’re bringing Churchill into the game …
We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children.
It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

Great post, BH. Certainly got me riled up. Rec'd.
I’ll be here on Monday, either in glee or sorrow…to see if this prediction comes true or not.
A correction, however:
And you will lose. And will it not hurt more than anything to lose to us? Your hated rival. Winning it in the building you share. Sorry. We own ours.
You don’t own Jerry World. I think Eli does, though. Even has his signature on it to prove its authenticity.
Here’s to a great game. I look forward to watching it on my couch, favorite drink in hand….Bailey’s on ice.
:)
I support the Giants like bras support Kim Kardashian's boobs. It can be a struggle, we've had some jiggles, but we're still firm.

had to get a shot in there, of course.
Y’all are awesome, but its Giants-Cowboys week, and I’d have to turn in my fancard if I didn’t take a few shots.

Honestly though, this is why I'm glad the game is at the Met.
Against any other team I’d wish it were at home, but I’ll take the Giants in NY over the Giants in Dallas any day. Giants probably wish they could play their home games in Dallas, too.
No doubt.
Giants suck at home. I wish we played all our games on the road.

Perhaps.
It certainly seems that since the playoff win, the ball has generally bounced the Giants’ way. So, if the Cowboys play better and win on Sunday, I will have to tip my cap and say, “ya can’t win’em all.”
Anybody but the Eagles!
Next time I have a few hours with nothing to do, I’m going to go to BGN and read every fanpost from the entire month of August.
