Cowboys @ Giants: Final Injury Report

The Cowboys injury list is long, but fortunately, almost everybody is going to play. We've pretty much known all week that Tony Romo and his bruised hand would be ready to go, and that's still the case today. How much it might affect his playing ability on Sunday night is unknown but so far everybody talks like it won't be a problem. Take Miles Austin:

Wide receiver Miles Austin said Friday he hasn't been able to tell that the quarterback has been bothered at all by the bruised hand he suffered against the Eagles in Week 16.

"I mean, he's accurate," Austin said. "I didn't have a radar gun to let me know (the speed). He would only know if he's zipping it. I felt like the passes were pretty on par with him.

"He's good. I feel like he's alright."

Felix Jones is expected to be a go as is Sean Lee who returned to practice Friday after spending a couple of days out with a stomach virus. DeMarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff, Mike Jenkins and Laurent Robinson all should play, they're listed as probable. Josh Price-Brent should finally see action after being out since after the Thanksgiving Day game. He says he'll play but won't really know how long or effective he'll be until he gets in there. If he can play effectively, it could be one of those under-rated moves that could help the Cowboys. From ESPN Dallas:

With the way Brandon Jacobs ran against the Cowboys in the first meeting, having Brent’s bulk (320 pounds) will be a plus.

In Brent’s four-game absence the Cowboys allowed three teams to rush for more than 100 yards (Arizona, the Giants and Philadelphia). The Eagles ran for 239 yards in the first meeting of the year when Brent was inactive.

One bad piece of news, it looks like safety Danny McCray won't play.

Yes he has

He has been taking limited snaps under center this week and working with the padded wrap on his hand and taking snaps and throws with a glove for cold weather this week. He will be good to go.

Wait I'm confused

McBriar had a full practice but was put on the IR? I didn’t even know he had an ailment

McBriar has dealt with an injury to his left foot half the season

By placing him on IR they did not have to cut anyone from the active roster and could call up Chris Jones from the pratice squad to punt.

Ah makes sense

although I thought I read McBriar’s a free agent after this year anyways.
