As a parent with a 10 year old I understand the fallacy of total control. If I say "Shut up, you really need to," it's not going to have that much of an effect. It's pure bullying. And kids know that. Inherently. If I say "I love you, shut up," it is easier to bridge any gaps and let them understand that what they just said deserves only ridicule and jest. A la "Princess Bride." It says that you love them and appreciate them. But damn, you just said some stewpid. And you move on from there. A learning process that aides both you and them going forward. All you people yelling, need a timeout. And if that seems unfair, then reread your posts. You sound like an angry goth teenager, with the wherewithall to survive a dryer malfunction.
"Jason Garrett must go! He's an idiot for calling TO."
"Where was the TO after Dez's catch?"
"Why were there no screens as TRG seems to love those?"
"Newman is an idiot, a whore, a wastrel, a weight upon us all."
You're not really a fan. You're a H8tr. Someone who does not get this team. You wanted to win? So did we. You're not alone in that respect. But you have expectations that are not even in line with common sense, This team will lose until it learns to win. Stop playing down to your opponent. We are a team that will be BOSS in the NFC. Yet you hide behind caterwaulling and incomrehensible complaining to register your point. Were mistakes made? Yes. Is this the process any team goes through to get better? Yes. Look back to the halfpoint of last year, we were lost. and Coached by a marshmellow. And now we are here.
We have a Offense that is close to being at the top of the league. A future that is bright with Ryan as DC. And a talent level that is rising. What do you want? We are about to challenge for the Conference. Get used to it. The Cowboys are used to it. You should start now. It's our world you are now living in. Welcome to it.
