I just read this on the mother ship. I can't believe Chapas just lost almost his entire weeks pay! That is insane, especially on a play that didn't even draw a penalty. Since I don't seem to be able to get the link to work correctly, Chapas was fined $20,000 on a blindside hit on LB Reggie Walker on a punt return. His game check for the week was $22,000. At this rate he is better off on the practice squad.
