Desean Jackson i an Arrogant Punk on the field, but this is very cool of him

Anyone who is not an Eagles fan dislikes Desean, and understandably so, but he deserves a thumbs up for doing this

Do you think the kid would have been happier if he wore a suit? And you know the view paid Desean? Care to share that evidence with?

Like I said, I can’t stand the guy, but this is a cool move on his part. That kid was tortured by bullies.

Gotta disagree there. He never puts down his teammates, he’s making like $500K/year and has barely made a peep about it, his teammates love him, and he does good things in the community. Sure, he showboats on the field like TO, but that’s kind of where the similarities end.

Give him credit where it is due

Irrespective of the motivations, he did something that positively impacted the kid and his family. He’s absolutely my 2nd most reviled opposing player(see above), but he deserves kudos for this.

On a semi-related item, nice piece by Frank Deford on Real Sports with Plaxico Burress’ family. My least favorite opposing player – Brandon Jacobs has been very supportive – spending time with Plax kids while Dad is away. Can’t stand him on the field, but he gets props for this.

to be honest guys like desean make the eagles dallas rivarly great..

just like T.O…. i just love seing eagles fan boo him.. yep mcnabb , vick , desean those guys always make the rivarly great. with out any of those guys i probably would not care about the eagles so much..

but to be honest i always like desan … especially when we beat these guys
