LSUsportsnet reports that Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett will headline this year's LSU Football Coaching Clinic, which runs from Thursday, March 31 through Saturday, April 2 on the LSU campus.
The clinic will feature speakers from the LSU coaching staff, including head coach Les Miles, offensive coordinator Steve Kragthorpe and strength and conditioning coordinator Tommy Moffitt, and is targeted at high school state championship coaches from Louisiana, Texas, Alabama and Florida.
Garrett is scheduled to hold the closing presentation on Friday. LSU coach Les Miles is looking forward to having Garrett on Campus. "We are very excited about bringing Jason to campus for our annual coaching clinic. Jason has a tremendous offensive mind so we are looking forward to hearing his thoughts on the game of football with us."
Previous headline speakers have included Bobby Bowden (2010), Archie Manning (2009), Sean Payton (2008), Bill McCartney (2007) and Cam Cameron (2006).
It is not known what Jason Garrett will be talking about, but clock management or roster size management are likely not going to be on the agenda. It is also not known whether he will take the opportunity to visit with Patrick Peterson, whom the Cowboys reportedly have at the top of their draft board.
