CBA Thoughts

I do believe they will get this thing worked out sooner or later. Neither side can exist without the other, and there is way too much money to be lost on both sides if there is no football. After all, this is all about money, nothing else.

Don't be fooled by other issues you hear about, it's the money. It kind of pisses me off these people are so lucky to be in these positions and they don't act that way. I think about how lucky they are to do what they love and get paid for it, or in the owners' case make money from it. It's millionaires, arguing over more money. Like they need it.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for people in any profession getting paid what they are worth. Also for any business owner making as much as he can. I just think this makes both sided look really greedy. They are already in the top 5% or 10% of earners in the country, yet fight for more. They will never have to worry about kids needing braces, or paying the rent, or putting tires on the car, and if they are in a position to have to worry about money, then they are fools and deserve it. I love football, by far my favorite sport, but I don't see either side of this. They both look bad.

On a football note, no CBA means no free agency, no trades. I think this really hurts the Cowboys. They certainly have too many needs to rely on only the draft, and they are in a nice position to trade up or down. Not to mention a new coaching staff trying to put their systems in. They are at a real disadvantage. So hope for football, hope for cooler heads, and more realistic expectations. Let's hope they think about us!!!! Because if not for us, there would be no money for them to argue about!!!
