Offensive Line vs. Ingram

Hey guys. This is my first post so here goes.

I have often heard that Emmitt had a great line and that may be true but.... If you look a little closer I think you will see that Emmitt made them  a lot better than they were. Mark Tuine - Converted Defensive Lineman. Mark Stepnoski - 250 pound center. Nate Newton - Free agent (cut by Washington in camp ). John Gesek - Acquired from Raiders for a 4th round pick. I'm not trying to lessen those great men's impact, but they went from those humble beginnings to many Pro Bowls. Mainly because of ....

Emmitt Smith, "The Greatest Runningback Ever".

Please think about that when considering our draft. I think it would be wise to trade back a few spots and draft Mark Ingram. Ingram is an absolute stud and will end up being the steal of this draft. Just like Emmitt was in 1990. Ingram will have a similar effect on these current linemen. With his vision power and balance, blitz pick up and pass catching prowess he is truly the total package. I would be out of line if I didn't mention Moose Johnston who was so important to the success of Emmitt (Moose should be a Hall Of Famer). I don't know if Gronk can be anywhere near Moose. This is just food for thought. I enjoy all of your posts and remarks. BTB is the best site by far with the most informed and intelligent fans I've found. Keep up the great work guys.
