Hey everyone, I have been a fan of BTB for over a year now. I just recently decided to create an account and get in on the action! I'm excited to make my first fan post, though it will be small.

I live in Georgia and haven't been able to escape all the Julio Jones buzz that inundates every sports bar from Augusta to Atlanta (They think they have the best WR corps in the league now pffft). Anyway, our discussion led to a little game we like to play "Any 3 players". It's simple, if you could add any 3 players to your favorite NFL team who would they be? Living in Georgia it's hard to come by true hardcore Cowboys fans, so I am interested to see what you guys think. Some things I take into consideration are team needs, character, durability and age.

My three picks:

1. Adrian Peterson 26 years old- I know running back isn't really a pressing need for the cowboys and I believe we can be a fantastic team with the trio we have (whichever 3 guys JG chooses to go with). But come on, it's Adrian Peterson and I can only imagine how the guy would open up the playbook for our man JG. I almost wanted to go with an interior lineman here like a Logan Mankins of the Patriots or a Jahri Evans of the Saints. But I think the addition of Tyron Smith will strengthen our line enough to bypass a lineman pick here.
   
2. Darelle Revis 25 years old- Do I even need to elaborate here? One of the leagues rare shutdown corners and a position Dallas could beef up on. Newman has been pretty good for us but hes getting old. I still believe that Mike Jenkins will be a star in this league, he just had a down year with Wade putting him in awful positions not to mention the terrible backup over the top at safety. Which leads me to my third and final pick...
3. Eric Berry-  22 years old. I know I passed on Mr. Head and Shoulders Polamalu and Ed Reed. But with both of them getting older (in their 30's) and honestly I would want to solidify these positions on the Cowboys roster for at least 5 seasons. He wasn't stellar in coverage but he did well enough to make the Pro Bowl as a rookie racking up 92 tackles and 4 picks.
   

So there you have it folks, my three picks. It's a dubious game and the implausibility almost makes it cruel. But it is a lot of fun and I cannot wait to see all the different picks!
