First of all I am not comparing him to Kurt Warner. Just proposing that he might be the next player to successfully make the jump from Arena Football to the NFL, just like Warner did, who is currently the only player I know of to successfully do so.
I don't know how many of you have NFL Network but every friday night they have Arena Football Friday. This past weekend was Kansas City at Utah Blaze. Funny because I heard them start talking about this guy Tommy Grady and at first I thought they were talking about Tom Brady because the name sounds very similar. Apparently people are very high on this guy for the way that he is able to think quickly and find the open receiver and rarely ever throws an interception. I know he threw 10 touchdowns the week prior (which is pretty good in the AFL) and 8 this past week, which is slightly above average I think. Now I am not huge on Arena Football because its a fairly one sided game and it seems a little too easy to score, however this guy may be worth paying attention to. He is just a year younger than me recently turning 26. The NFL is always looking for quarterbacks that can throw the ball, and since that is all they do in the AFL for about 98% of the plays, Its worth paying attention to the Quarterbacks. He has the arm strength, accuracy and awareness that teams covet... or so says Michael Lombardi of NFL Network who was in the booth on Friday night. Here is a link if you want to know more about this kid.
