Blogging the bEast ranks the OT's in the East
I finally went to JimmyK's new site, Blogging the bEast, and it has made it into my bookmarks. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should. Especially interesting is his take on the best offensive tackles in the NFC East.

Good stuff, I will start to check out the site more often
While I personally wouldn’t add Peters as the #1 OT on the list – I have an issue with a player that regularly swings from ProBowler to JAG and I see it as a sign of bad effort and/or work ethic and would thus rather have Free or Smith or Trent Williams on my team first.
On a side note, I really like what he did with the “Beast” graphics showing each teams emblem in one of the letters.

"Leadership is a matter of having people look at you and gain confidence, seeing how you react. If you're in control, they're in control." - Tom Landry
I liked the graphics of the beast name too
although I thought the first design I saw on his site (stick figures representing the teams) was funny.
I have to wonder if Jimmy put the team emblems in the letters in order (Boys in the E, eagles in the A, skins in the S, giants in the T) of his favorite teams or how he thought the division would shake out this year …or both. =)
I would have thought that his eagles on the e would seems like a natural fit for him.
Ha, a friend of my wife’s worked up the new logo for me, and I think the logos fit in best where he put them. However, I like my old crappy logo better (below), but I feel like a jerk not using the new one.

haha
yeah that’s the one I mentioned. That logo made me laugh. it’s good, I like it…….however, your new logo is probably more “beast” like.
True, but the old one is a better reflection of my writing style.

can I not comment on the site?
I think beuhlers stock goes up. As a DC wouldn’t you rather know the opposing Offense will never start past the 20yd line? Or as a ST coach wouldn’t it be great to know to just say hey DB touchback or teach him to kick it really high and force the guy to take it from the 5yd with defenders already in his face?
Plus DB was 75%ish on FGs thats avg for the league. Another year to improve? He was 4-5 from 50+!

I think they won some kind of advertising award for managing to include the arrow in the graphis between E and x – not tough, kind of natural, right? I am really impressed by the new one. Tell your friends wife she did a great job. Your writing isn’t bad either HAHA
