Danieal Manning didn't allow a touchdown last season, according to Pro Football Focus, and out of 925 defensive snaps quarterbacks had a 59.7 quarterback rating against him when throwing in his direction.

He has strong coverage skills
I infer that he can learn a zone. I don’t see much difference in the systems beyond that. Do you know something I don’t know? Does “different systems” mean because he’s used to playing in a somewhat competent defense?
Safeties are more or less interchangeable scheme-wise in a 4-3 vs. a 3-4. Effective against the run (three missed tackles last year, per Rotoworld), lights out in coverage. Plays free and strong.
He’d be a little expensive, but beyond that, I don’t see negatives in signing him.

But I blew it off because I thought he was Ricky Manning, the streaky/ flashy dude that wore a mask. He played for the Panthers, Bears, and Raiders. He’s older, and plays arena ball now.
My bad, because Danieal would look good with a star on his head.
