Around SBN: L'Equipe Claims He's Coming To Chelsea On Five Year Deal

77587458_display_image

I know it's a couple of months from now, and we are still waiting for the season just to start, but....

This is the one game I have circled on the schedule this year. This is the one game I really want to win the most. I know it's just a regular season game, but I really want the taste of that 48-27 BS out of my mouth.

If we can field an actual viable NFL secondary this time, and hold Brady to less than the 5 TDs and 388 yards he had last time, maybe we stand a chance, even at New England.

Make no mistake, though, this will likely be a harbinger of how far we've come and how good we actually are. It will be a tough game. We will have two weeks to prepare, though, so I expect JG and RR to pull a creative game plan together.

let's hope we can duplicate Cleveland's feat

I doubt they’ll sleep on us the way they may have on the Browns, though. I think it will be a close hard-fought game, but it sure would be fun for us to run away with it. :)

You speak my mind sir

This is the most important non-divisional game to me. I don’t know why I just really dislike the Patriots for some reason. And yeah, as you say it will be a great indication of where the team is headed.

I really do dislike the Patriots, too.

Something about their (perceived) smirk towards the rest of the NFL just rubs me the wrong way. I know they’ve won a lot of games and 3 SBs in the past decade, which some would say entitles them to it, but I really really want to break their aura and wipe the smirk off of their faces.

I still remember Harrison (I believe it was) pointing and laughing at Romo at the end of the last game when he threw an interception trying to get the Boys back into the game. Then they rub it in with a garbage late TD. They came in and made fools of us in our own stadium.

Yeah I want this game as a win. And I want to see some angry (NOT out of control) playing from the players that were here then.

I can't wait.

Yup, that’s it. And their fans too. I have some friends that bag on Romo and blame him for every Cowboys loss, yet don’t credit him for wins. In the same way, every Patriot win is because Brady leads the team, yet for every loss it isn’t Brady that lost it for them.

Only time will tell my friend. While I’m excited to see what our defense will be like under Rob Ryan, I’m just as excited for our offense. With all the hype surrounding what our defense will be like I’ve forgotten the measure of our offense. Miles, Dez, Roy? A deadly WR core. Felix, Murray, Choice? A strong backfield. Witten, Phillips, Bennett? I think we actually take our depth for granted sometimes. Even having Kitna behind Romo is good QB depth by average league standards. It truly is a loaded offense… And we got that Ex-Pack WR coach in yeah? Robinson or some sort. Excitebike!

If our OL can hold up, and (especially in this game) our defensive backfield can keep it from being a shootout

then yeah we are a true contender. I truly believe that JG was held back by Wade, and I also believe that RR will bring something just as special to our defense.

Bottom line: unleash hell on them, Boys!

And don’t worry about reply fail, lol.
