Tanner, Jones, and Ryan, Oh My
The offense will shine, but the defense has work to do.
Yes, I'm worried that we're too thin after Bryant and Austin. But really, this team should put up a lot of points.
Unfortunately, the offense may have to score at a crazy pace to win, because it's not yet clear that the defense will be stopping anyone. I hope I'm wrong. And I would like to see more of McCann and Church in the secondary. I'm hoping it will just take time for everyone to learn the Ryan defense. And I'm hoping the seriousness of Garret will get things turned around.
And I really hope that Jenkins and Anthony can return to the form that got them to the pro bowl in 2009, and that Lee and later Carter and maybe Victor Butler give the defense a lift with new blood. Most of all, I'm hoping that all the blitz packages result in long yardage situations and turnovers and not a lot of long plays and chunks of yards on the ground. But right now, the defense is mostly butter.

It is T-New not Anthony that is our CB.
But I am with you on the offense.

1800-2000 yards?!
How many yards did Chris Johnson have last year?
But, I like your enthusiasm. I don’t care how many yards that Jones himself has. I would like to see the combination of all three running backs make the running game formidable. This is a passing offense, so the running game is never going to be the emphasis, but it can create great things for the team.
I think he meant 1800-2000 yds as a group..
“Jones will lead the running back committee to 1,800 to 2,000 yards”.. but totally agree with you, as we are a pass first team..

yeah I think that Felix
should end up with 2000 total yards
Here’s a theoretical play from 2010: Snap. Tony takes 7 step drop. Tony looks left at Miles, who is doubled, and looks right to where Roy Williams should be…but instead sees Colombo on his back and a Defensive End foaming at the mouth jumping over Marc’s carcass. Tony proceeds to run like hell and look for Witten

Am I the most optimistic Cowboys fan in the World? Yes, due to an "unfortunate accident" to the previous holder of the title.

Just trying to help
Calm people down around here but just to show that middle of pack in terms of yards wouldn’t be that bad, read my fanpost about which is the most important defensive stat.
