The Cowboys took Scandrick out of Boise State in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL draft. He has played in all 48 games in his three years with the Cowboys, starting nine.
So here it is, he got a 5-year extension worth $27 million ($10 million guaranteed)
Which basically means if you get burned by Vincent Jackson you will get big money… that is the key just in case the rest of you NFL cornerbacks were listening.
This could mean alot of things:
1. How serious is Mike Jenkin's injury?
2. Is T-New gone after this year?
3. Will either of them be back for the season opener against the Giants?
I don't know about you guys but I would rather have had us spend that money on a veteran tackle then a CB who gets beat during regular season games. I think this is a desperation signing and either one whether it be Jenk or T-New might be out for the season opener.
let me know what you guys think about this...
