Worst broadcast booth ever?
Were Bill, Babe and Michael even vaguely aware there was a football game going on? That was like sharing a beer for three hours with guys whose anecdotes and stories are supremely interesting to ... themselves. This was the first preseason game I've been able to catch live and would have dearly loved to have had some real, professional commentators doing the game. People who, you know, actually prepare and know people's names and histories and even maybe know a few of the players on the other team. The headline from JJ directly that Tanner would make the team was the best moment of the evening. Otherwise pretty much a waste of time and space. And to think I was so excited to have the Cowboys' feed be the one selected for NFL Network's Game Pass tonight!

Irvin got fired because he was taking home burgers that had been on the grill too long.
When he got home, upset over being fired, his family asked where the Whoppers were.
I thought it was pretty funny, and was one helluva treat to listen to Irvin all game long. BEST Broadcast Booth ever!!!

man what are u talking about?
It was great.an irvin broke the game down and offer so sum key info at certain times ..
Plus it was a 4th preaseason game..they probably paid irvin double just to show up so ppl could watch..
I don't know what people expect from a 4th preseason game but
Irvin adds good commentary like when McGee threw that deep ball to Tree and he said Tree needed to lean into the defender more.
