My Trip to Cowboys Stadium

I am 19, from New Zealand (just below Australia for those of you that don't know), and am currently travelling around the US. A few days ago (the 9th I think?), I went to Cowboys stadium. Oh and btw I am a Cowboys fan (optimistic after the first game/angry).

It was pretty cool, it only cost $17 for an unguided tour of the stadium (guided was like $10 more). The only problem was there is NO public transport in Arlington, which is bizarre. Anyway, we had to get the train like halfway from Dallas to Arlington, then taxi the rest.

I have to say it was one of the coolest things I've done since I've been here. Just walking in is really cool, cause it's SO BIG. The screen is SO BIG. We could go pretty much anywhere we wanted. For starters we took photos of the stadium, then we went down to field. Here, there was a staff member with a football, who let us use it and play on the field. It was pretty cool. Being from New Zealand, I've never really kicked field goals before (even though I played american football for one year, but there was XP or field goals). I had a go, thinking the 20 was probably an ambitious start (considering I practically crap my pants watching David Buehler attempt one from here) but I made it easily. So I moved it back to the 25, just left on the first go, but nailed the next two, not too hard all in all. From the 30 was hard. I had two gos, my first was just short and my second wide left (by alot LOL). This got me thinking, how in the hell can we not get a good kicker? If I can slot it easily enough from the 25 with no experience, how can a pro football team not get someone who can consistently do the same?

Anyway enough ranting, after that, I went in to the locker room, meh it was ok, same with the cheerleaders locker room. After throwing passes with the staff member for a while longer, we left. The highlight was definitely the screen and the stadium's size.

One last thing, I'm going to the Denver vs Oakland game tonight, which should be good, and I also went to the TU vs BYU game the other day (got tickets for $25 a piece in real good spots aswell, section 7 I think?). But my question is about the 49ers vs Cowboys game on the 18th. I just had a look on online, and best price I could find was $82. I don't care where the seats are (IMO being high up gives you a better view of the game strategically), but do you think I should buy these tickets, wait and then buy hopefully lower priced tickets, or try and get a deal off some scalper. We got $85 tickets for $25 at the Texas game, so I'm thinking scalper, but I was just wondering if any of the Americans could give their advice. Give your advice in the comments section, thanks a heap!
