CHARACTER-DRIVEN VICTORY
They had every reason to roll-over and lose - facing a letdown from the Jets game, without Dez Bryant, without Terence Newman, against a young and hungry 49ers team, at San Francisco, coached by rah-rah Jim Harbaugh, down 14-0, losing Romo and Felix for extended periods of time, missing a 21-yard field goal, but yet...
Down 10 points in the 4th quarter, forcing OT and winning with a reality star making the longest play (I believe) in Dallas Cowboys OT history. A remarkable victory. One for the ages.

I think you meant mettle.
mettle |ˈmetl|
noun
a person’s ability to cope well with difficulties or to face a demanding situation in a spirited and resilient way: the team showed their true mettle in the second half.

Why is it so hard to get we see you time and time again it’s in the guidelines. Wonder if we’ll ever learn…
Roger: Hey, with this mortar launcher, we can get back at the kid who went all Tom Sizemore on your eye!
Steve: Oh, I wish I could get back at him. I'm gonna dress up as a girl and get him to have sex with me and then say "Ha! I'm not a girl! You just had sex with a boy that hates you!"
Roger: Yes, let's leave that plan between you, me, and the string of therapists who won't be able to help you.

Here’s a theoretical play from 2010: Snap. Tony takes 7 step drop. Tony looks left at Miles, who is doubled, and looks right to where Roy Williams should be…but instead sees Colombo on his back and a Defensive End foaming at the mouth jumping over Marc’s carcass. Tony proceeds to run like hell and look for Witten

Am I the most optimistic Cowboys fan in the World? Yes, due to an "unfortunate accident" to the previous holder of the title.

Character Period and the leader everyone doubts showed more character then even I thought was believable!
Tony this one’s for you! (Tossing down my final Bud!) Man you sure as heck showed up today… Toughness… Leader…. Making great decisions!… Showing class…. and talk about pinpint accuracy on those final two drives. I would have not put it in my kickers hands but thats me! But all the haters that say he isn’t a leader… watch him talking to Holley… those of you that say he isn’t tough… watch him run out on the field with broken ribs to take us to victory after Kitna’s two interceptions (for those that wanted him on the field instead) For those that say he choke’s on critical drives… watch the final two. And for those that say he has no class well in my book he will always be the first class Quarterback of my Dallas Cowboys!
