Personally, i'm not sure how power rankings are entirely decided. I'd like to think that there must be more then just popular votes. How can a team like the Ravens be above the Cowboys in ESPN Power Rankings? We obviously had the tougher schedule. What about the Giants being above the Raiders? No way the Giants had a tougher schedule then the Raiders. In this Power Rankings, i'll be taking three stats into consideration. Included are the Win-Loss Records, Strength of Schedule and Opponent's Points Differentials. I'd like to thank One.Cool.Customer. His post on Power Rankings and Seven Statistics, where he mentions strength of schedule (SoS), are the origins for the idea of this post. |
