The usual cast of (bad) characters -- halftime update
Ball – "burnt toast" – cannot cover his grandma and blows a great opportunity to change the game by not covering the fumble. Make the two chances to make a play on special teams and he doesn't know the rules.
Spencer – "cannot stay onside" – I was telling the guy sitting next to me that Spencer and Ware are good for 3-4 of those a game.
Elam – "the missing man" – I wrote earlier Elam never makes a big play. Well, he had a perfect opportunity to make one and whiffs.
Sensabaugh – "the second missing man" – can make a play on a ball on the ground and he just stands around the pile before his slow reactions kick in.
Newman – "Newman … [in my best Seinfeld voice]" – Really, you cannot tackle a TE? of a FB?
Bradie James – "lead foot" – really, does anybody think he should be on the team next year? He gets blow up by FBs and cannot tackle a RB.
Watch the Green Bay Packers play and all their defensive backfield are attacking the pile. Watch the Cowboys and all their defensive backfield have got their hands in their pockets hoping that Sean Lee brings somebody down.

A couple additions ...
Anytime Robinson, Bryant, and Austin aren’t on the field together, we are doing the Giants a favor.
They are one of the worst pass defense teams in the league, but we wait until 3rd down to take our shots.
Romo — great job escaping the play of an awful line, but you have to know where the line of scrimmage is. That was a huge play.
That Romo play was so frustrating
He could have EASILY run for the first down there. That was just another thing in the “whatever can go wrong will” string of things that happened last night. SO many missed opportunities.

Leave them in NY
Emmitt was right! This team is mentally weak.

Some of this team is mentaly week some are just plain old and slow.
Most the mentally week ones are the younger kids who thought life would be better on the Cowboys and it hasn’t quite turned out that way time will tell. That and a tough, mean offseason to kick them in the butts and instill some gdang discipline in this group is a MUST!

Yet another thing
This is Romo’s game to win.
Garrett cannot get conservative on us now. Time to gamble … shotgun all the time and chuck in around.
I didn't know Garrett read this blog
Chuck it … chuck it …. chuck it.
I forgot to mention
Doug “speed bump” Free … he’ll slow you down, but he won’t stop you.
What an awesome game!
Anybody seen America’s Team this evening?
Must have left the game with 2011.

Again, we cannot stay on-sides
Come on Ware … play it straight.
Great idea ... too slow
Classic Brady play … run up to the line of scrimmage and sneak it for a yard while the other team is getting players on/off the field or aren’t set.
However, unlike the way Brady runs it, it was too slow developing. You’ve got hit that play quickly.
+1
Way too slow

Sensabaugh -- another disappearing job
Eli throws up a prayer and Sensabaugh is nowhere to be found.
Why the Cowboys resigned him is beyond my comprehension.
This is where the Giants where last game.
6 minutes left and needing two scores.
Dallas needs to score with more than 2 minutes left. Hold them for three and get the ball back.
Why are the Cowboys punting
You need two scores. There isn’t time enough.
Another blunder by Garrett.
2nd and 8
and Sensabaugh is 10 yards off the line.
He makes contact with the runner after 5 yards.
Next play he is running away from the runner. The man does not like contact.
Game over ....
Dallas defense does them in … as well as Garrett’s conservative play calling the first half.
Anybody watch Green Bay — Detroit? When you have a bad defense, you win by throwing the ball.
Although I think M. Bennett never had an good opportunity to shine behind Whitten, if Cowboys re-sign him over Laurent Robinson, I will puke.
Last comment … I like Garrett as a head coach — I’m not fond of him as an OC. This team should play offense like Green Bay, New Orleans, and New England. Garrett has too much on his plate now.
Garret keeps outhinking himself
When you have a strength (three excellent receivers) versus a weakness (giants pass d) you ride that all game long and make them pay. Instead he tries to establish the run and waste scoring opportunities. How fustrating is it to watch this guy do this for a half and help the giants.
When he needs a clutch conversion, he goes to Felix instead of Robinson, Dez, Miles, Witten. Again gettting too cute. When the Giants needed a play they went to Cruz repeatedly and they made Garret pay over and over.

He forgot demarco was injured...
And you can add Felix to the list also. Season ended when Demarco went down.
Bad football team. Long ways to go.
Jerry is the end all in Dallas.
It was almost comical
watching Newman pretend to play corner. Ball is burnt almost every snap. Scandrick letting Cruz get position on him with a throw that took 20 seconds to get there is inexcusable. Scandrick was just rewarded for being a mediocre at best, slot corner with a new contract, bet Jerry wants a do-over on that. Elam in position to blow up that running play and then deciding to play touch football at the last second and letting NY score. Newman letting even a 300lb. TE hurdle him then having an encore performance letting the fullback hurdle him. Sensabaugh batting a fumble to Manning. It’s so pitiful that it’s comical. That secondary is horrible and even the best cover corner Dallas has (Jenkins) is brittle as glass. Wow what a let down. I hate to point this out but Ware was handled one on one and Ratliff was doubled. They just ran Ware up the field and let Eli step up and Ware was out of the picture, NO PRESSURE, NO COVERAGE=LOSS AGAIN.
