Safeties coach Brett Maxie has an offer from the Cowboys and the Titans
Maxie has an offer to return to the Cowboys, where he has served primarily as the safeties coach since 2008. He also received an offer from the Titans to become their secondary coach.
The Titans role would be a step up for Maxie, as newly hired Jerome Henderson will be in charge of the entire secondary in Dallas.

Might be better
to let Henderson pick his coaches. Lord knows we could use some fresh eyes back there.
Right?
Although if he has an offer to return that might mean Ryan wants him.
Maybe they’re not holding the personnel against him. I did like AOA though.

New chance
Our safties played a lot better last year but it was still a bit of an issue (mostly with injuries). Might not be a bad idea to bring in another coach for the secondary.

If you're going to eat poison, you might as well lick the plate.

maybe Maxie pad here hasn’t had the talent, I will give him that, but i want a fresh start in the secondary

Take the Titans offer please.
Nothing against him, but I want a complete overhaul of the secondary unit. I don’t want any of the same coaches back.

let RR pick his own guys
"Do you want to be safe and good, or do you want to take a chance and be great?"
You guys really think the Cowboys would have made him an offer to stay
if Rob Ryan didn’t want him to stay? Not a chance.
We're here to win football games. The way to do that is to tell him and to get on him at the right times. I do that when you guys (media) don't see and watch.''
What else makes a strong leader?
"You win,'' Romo said. "You're a very good leader once you win.
"That's' what we're going to do.''
