I'm going to add the link to OCC's FA primer on Centers
Because the two make great companion reading.
Cowboys Free Agent Primer: Who’ll Play Center For The Cowboys In 2012?
I totally agree that the Cowboys dollars would be better served in the market for Centers. And the best point Raf makes is that the position tolerates a high level of play even for a player past 35. Wouldn’t hurt to offer a longer contract to Chris Myers (HOU) or Scott Wells (GB) even if they’re 30.

At least we know they are addressing the interior line
no matter if its guard or center.
We're here to win football games. The way to do that is to tell him and to get on him at the right times. I do that when you guys (media) don't see and watch.''
What else makes a strong leader?
"You win,'' Romo said. "You're a very good leader once you win.
"That's' what we're going to do.''
take a center at 14??? a trade down ???

of course!!!: if they do go FA a center is cheaper than a guard..
Then if Castro falls to you your Oline is complete..

this is absurd
Phil Costa is a saint
"I got the 9 on me so I think I'm Romo"

of course i would talk about C as well, but we have discussed OG, because decastro plays G
besides that i think nobody doubts center is a major need, costa sucks, but Konz as goog as he is doesn’t worth the 14th pick, maybe late teens early 20’s
I would not get sold on Kon just yet
I am hearing that his medical problems may be a huge concern and if found to be true would not only drop way down in the draft but take him off of almost all teams draft boards.
You have to play this game like somebody just hit your mother with a two-by-four. Dan Birdwell. Oakland Raiders
How do you want to be rememberd. Go out there and play every play like it is your last play. Be remembered as the person you want to be for the rest of your life. Spike Dykes, Midland Lee and Texas Tech Coach.
still worth a risk in later rounds

Not sure what level of risk you are willing to take
If what I am hearing is true, I myself would not be willing to use a draft pick on a player with a high probability of death or needing career ending treatment.

Wow, that doesn't sound good.
Hopefully he will be ok.
