Further Details on the Kirkpatrick arrest
A police report said Kirkpatrick was a passenger in a truck driven by another former Alabama player, Christopher Airreun Rogers, 25, of Baltimore, Md., who police stopped for driving on the wrong side of the road. A dog detected the presence of drugs, the report said, and an officer found marijuana on the floorboard of the passenger side at Kirkpatrick’s feet.
Rogers told police he purchased the marijuana at a house and was charged with a drug offense.
Kirkpatrick told officers he was in the car when the drugs were purchased by another person, but he didn’t realize at the time what was being bought, the report said.

two things
Was the MJ still in the bag, or was it loose on the floor, and if it was loose,
Was he tested to see if he had been using?
Those would be the two key elements that would back up his story IMO…..
Here’s a theoretical play from 2010: Snap. Tony takes 7 step drop. Tony looks left at Miles, who is doubled, and looks right to where Roy Williams should be…but instead sees Colombo on his back and a Defensive End foaming at the mouth jumping over Marc’s carcass. Tony proceeds to run like hell and look for Witten

Now, if somebody doesn’t agree with that, that’s cool. I also don’t agree with the fact that I don’t have $10 million in my bank account. But the fact that I don’t agree with it doesn’t make it any less true.

Dez doesn't do drugs, he is late and stuff, but he is no druggie

You guys hold these athletes
to ridiculous standards.
Look, I have been a college athlete before and believe me.. you have alot of people who want to be your friend and who lots of people you think you can trust. I will give the kid a break this one time due to the fact the drugs aren’t his.

I think he does fall to 14 now and I would be thrilled
6’3, ball skills, great tackler=exactly what we need starting opposite of Mike Jenkins

Didn't Realize What Was Being Bought?
hmm, I wonder what my friend bought at this random house that’s in this clear, plastic bag….

considering how small it was
Kirkpatrick might not have seen it…..Not trying to make excuses, just saying We don’t know the full story ( and likely never will), so saying stuff like he he should have known, is just conjecture at this point….

haha it's obvious he knew his pal was scoring some dope
but i don’t blame him for telling that to the cops
the funniest thing about this article
Is that the dude was so high he was driving on the wrong side of the road. I have a medical card in cali and smoke medical weed everyday and I’ve never been so high that I drive on the wrong side of the road. SMH
