Why does Ryan get the benefit of the doubt and not Wade?

Ryan has never been a great defensive coordinator... ever. And yet people think if you just give him the right players he'll produce a top 5 defense. Yet Wade churned out a top 10 defense year after year that led the league in sacks at times and people thought he was the worst thing ever. An no I'm not talking about Head Coach. Fans would criticize him as a defensive coordinator all the time and mock him as "Mr. Fix-it." Look at what he did in Houston without Super Mario. Good coaches can coach mediocre plays up. Ryan is not a good coach.
