Around SBN: 7 Important Questions About The Heat Vs. Celtics Series

Your favorite closet Cowboys fan is down here in Mobile, and I've been stalking the NFC East's coaching staffs/scouts to see who they talk to after practice. So far, I've seen them speak with those 3 players. Just figured I'd share.

Thanks

Now I have to go and look up two out of these three guys.

He may. Because his salary is already so high, it will cost the Texans a ton to tag him. It would be significantly more than the typical tag for a DE classification.

I like Jake Bequette

I think he would make a nice 3-4 OLB. I’ll have to watch more on him though.

Being an Arkansas fan, I really like him too.

Problem is, I fear he’ll remind a lot of people of Anthony Spencer. Bequette would disappear for games at a time in college, but then out of the blue he’d be completely dominant.

It’s in the fanshots. Apparently they’re scheduled to talk with him tonight. Jenkins has looked excellent so far. He’s glue. They’ll have to decide if he’s a turd or not.

Thanks for keeping an eye out Jimmy

I like all of those players as late round picks, good to know that the boys are at least feigning interest.

Ganoway

was beastly during his bowl game, could be an upgrade for the short yardage game. Lot of similarities with Blount.

I like Jake Bequette

1) Size: He’s 6’5 264
2) Production: 21.5 career sacks as a 4-3 DE; in 2011: 8.5, in 2010: 7, in 2009: 5.5; this tells me he got better each yr as evidenced by making jump from Second Team All SEC in 2010 to First Team All-SEC in 2011 (apparently only played in 9 games in 2011 with hamstring injury). In 2011, he ranked 7th nationally with 0.89 sacks/game.

"The tone is business," Garrett said. "Let's get to work. The Giants are going to be at the Meadowlands on Sunday at 4:15. They're an awfully good football team. We have to get ready for them."

actually upon further review he has ~23.5 career sacks
