JUST STOP and MOVE ON ALREADY
The horse is dead. Stop beating it! Move on! Talk about some new, interesting and revelant things. It not for the daily work of KD, Ryle, OCC and CHIA and the weekly or so post from Scarlet O, this site would be unreadable.Move forward. Show some football IQ. Please. Research, read, go to ESPN Dallas, listen to the beat writers, do anything. The following things are not going to happen, please stop!
- Tony Romo will be the starter for the Dallas Cowboys for the forseeable future!
- Jay Ratliff is not moving to DE!
- The Dallas Cowboys are not going to hire an offensive coordinator, not matter how bad you think they need one!
- Jerry Jones WILL NOT HIRE A GENERAL MANAGER! And yes he has had some struggles in that role!
- The Dallas Cowboys are not going to switch back to a 4-3, nor do they have the personnel to do so!
- Jerry is not going to shell out 55million to Ben Grubbs or Carl Nicks. That will be the market value!
- The Cowboys are not going to trade Ware or Ratliff or Dez Bryant or Tyron Smith or any of the other ridiculous suggestions I've seen people post!
- The Cowboys are rebuilding and Garrett needs time!
- There is a thing called the salary cap!
- The NFL is nothing like MADDEN! You can't move people all over the place, nor can you make crazy trades!
- The team is right where they should be if you take an objective look at its talent!
Sorry but it's frustrating to see people clutter up things with the same comments over and over, when there's good and interesting debate to be had in excellent posts. Please stop!

THANK YOU!!!
Jerry Jones WILL NOT HIRE A GENERAL MANAGER! And yes he has had some struggles in that role!
Yes Jerry Jones isn’t the greatest GM…but Jerry is a great owner….
Here’s a theoretical play from 2010: Snap. Tony takes 7 step drop. Tony looks left at Miles, who is doubled, and looks right to where Roy Williams should be…but instead sees Colombo on his back and a Defensive End foaming at the mouth jumping over Marc’s carcass. Tony proceeds to run like hell and look for Witten

Now, if somebody doesn’t agree with that, that’s cool. I also don’t agree with the fact that I don’t have $10 million in my bank account. But the fact that I don’t agree with it doesn’t make it any less true.

Wrong. A great owner would have fired his gm after 15 years.
but Jerry is a great owner….
Jerry is the end all in Dallas.
When in fact they DO have 4-3 personnel.
The Dallas Cowboys are not going to switch back to a 4-3, nor do they have the personnel to do so!
Jerry is the end all in Dallas.
Another mistake !
The Dallas Cowboys are not going to hire an offensive coordinator, no matter how bad you think they need one!
Jerry is the end all in Dallas.
i feel you guys but you dont know jack about what this team has plan..
Good try though

What it boils down to is there a few people who are going to bitch no matter what. You just have to let it go. But I completely agree with you and it’s a shame they tie up this site with the same crap over and over. You would think since they crowned themselves GM that they would also be smart enough to figure out the owner is not going to fire himself. But apparently it’s less about logic and more about just whining.

Delusional or not here I come
Sorry, but I’m going to keep dreaming of Ben Grubbs until he resigns with Baltimore. Why? Because I want to (and he’s actually worth the $55 million).
I understand your frustration, these topics get rehashed over and over and it can get a bit droll, but we’re fans. Now, some of us know we are just wishfully thinking and others are truly misinformed and delusional.
Sports is just a really good reality show and yet we all act as if our lives are truly affected by the outcomes. We want it to be more, so it is. Let us have our “wouldn’t it be great if’s” and our “I know what they needs.” And when those don’t work out; we can all get together and buy a bar.

It's just catharsis for people to post these things.
A lot of folks want to fix their team after the season collapses so they come up with ideas. Some good, some not. Some reasonable, some…uh not.
I started out with nothing and still have most of it left
One thing I like -
Jerry Jones is not knee-jerking much lately.
He still holds his “favorities” like TNew in higher regard than they are worth, but there is something to be said for loyalty.
The team took a step in the right direction overall this season…but it was a small step.
Everything however is expodential.
Adding five or six decent player this season – Smith, Carter (fingers crossed) Murray, Robinson, Fiametta, maybe Elam…
If Dallas can toss another four or five into the mix next season, things will strat to get brighter.
Last year – Barber, Williams, Davis and Columbo were good cuts.
This year? TNew, Ball, James, and Brooking getting chopped will further the process.
Keep patient…this may take a while.
He still holds his "favorities" like TNew in higher regard than they are worth, but there is something to be said for loyalty.
Do tell what is to be said about this ?
Jerry is the end all in Dallas.

With the exception of JG getting on OC
and Jerry needing a GM, the other issues you mentioned are the suggestions of a small minority. I think the idea of JG having an OC (which Jerry has even mentioned) and Jerry’s decision making (we all know he’s not going to hire a GM) process is worthy of discussion. What else will we talk about the next 8 months?
